HEY GUYS IS IT JUST ME OR DOES BRUTALCUM POWDER KINDA LOOKS LIKE BRUTAL CUM POWDER? IT MAY SOUND CRAZY, BUT IF YOU LOOK REAL CLOSE YOU CAN KINDA SEE IT
I understand and appreciate you being an example of what someone could do to vent their 'perplexing' views and hopes of expressing themselves... in a way thats covered up with relative interests on youtube. The impression I'm receiving is it grew or dulled perhaps from a passive aggressive and comedic outlet that not many people even understood to a genuine hobby that you've gotten better at over time. What's next from Brutalmancum person?
hey bru, I've been wondering whatever happened to that earthbound video you were talking about? is it still in the pipeline or did you end up not doing it?
Because a team of 3 hellions spamming breakthrough was how the game was meant to be played? Just play the game and learn how things work. The game is known for difficulty, saying it sux because you dont have the patience for it is not cool fam
Is Dishonored 2 a substantial improvement on the first game? I played that recently and just blinked like an asshole throughout the whole game like an asshole and it was incredibly mediocre (the story was also boring and I didn't give a shit about it). Also Artificial difficulty should just refer to unintended and inconsistent ways a game becomes more difficult that the dev didn't plan for like garbage camera system that may block your way, bugs, glitches, shoddy unresponsive or inconsistent controls (If the controls are consistently shit then it's not artificial difficulty, it's just shit controls). Changing a boss to require 200 slashes in a higher difficulty does not mean artifical difficulty it is objectively more difficult, less people will be able to accomplish it, that being said it is a lazy way to increase difficulty. Guess my problem is with the semantics but I do think increased damage/health points helps some games, enemies you could ignore their attacks or kill before they can do anything now become a threat.
"Also Artificial difficulty should just refer to unintended and inconsistent ways a game becomes more difficult that the dev didn't plan for like garbage camera system that may block your way, bugs, glitches..." That's just called being a shitty game, artificial difficulty is defined as bullshit 0 effort knob-tweaking such as (pick one or more): increasing enemies' health increasing enemies' damage decreasing the player's health decreasing the player's damage A much more interesting difficulty scaling could include, for example: smarter AI (e.g. for an FPS game: enemies try to flank you and work more as a team; fighting game: enemies block attacks more often; stealth game: enemies detect you more easily, possibly for things that wouldn't have aggro'd them in an easier difficulty like the sound of pulling out a dagger or the sound of activating night vision goggles) making puzzles more complex giving the enemies different, more aggressive mechanics (as in the video) different enemy variety (e.g. in a given area instead of facing 2 tough guys and 4 grunts, having to fight 4 tough guys and 4 grunts) different enemy spawns / patrol routes etc etc Of course this can and usually should be paired with knob tweaking, but if knob-tweaking is the only thing that's done at all, then that's lazy game design
