2016 Mazda 3 Screen not working (How to hard Reset the screen Easy) Broken screen/Bluetooth/frozen 

Props dude. My 14 Mazda 3 just had a black screen and wouldn't turn on but rear camera would work. I did the hard reset and it worked like a charm. You the man.

Bummer. I was hoping that would work. My 2015 Mazda3's nav system started freaking out today. It still NAVIGATES, like it still recognizes upcoming streets and does provide an accurate route, which makes me think that the nav is working, but it's the Mazda's overall system that's melting down. The bit where the nav itself jumps around makes clicking noises, and just starts slapping buttons is very real. I'll still give it a go tomorrow because I have nothing to lose and I am pretty sure my car is out of warranty as well. Thanks!

Check your fuse box in the engine compartment. Check the AUDIO1 or AUDIO2. They are a 15amp. and 7.5amp(?). Replace if they are busted. Good luck.

I had that same issue with my 2014 Mazda 3, and the screen was recalled due to moisture getting in the screen and caused the system to think your pressing buttons when you are not, whenever the car wasn't moving.

Dude ingot question to ask, I changed my car’s battery and then my Head unit wont turn on. Sometime it came on with only mazda logo, then it shut down. Any idea whats wrong with my MZD?

I wiggled the camera once and it seemed like it fixed the issue. Idk how long until the problem comes back though

Anybody how do you know if the amp is no good? Barely any audio coming from the system. Doesn't matter if it's radio, Bluetooth etc. Sounds like whispering at max volume.

This also works about 15mins after the car battery dies and has been jumped. My screen simply wouldn't turn on. Which means no back up camera.

Reset did not work. Brought it Mazda dealership to diagnose. They said CMU (the console computer) needs to be replaced. Costs $1,300.00 plus tax.

My info screen keeps flicking to Navigation, for the last 2 weeks - took to Mazda Dealership…left the Akari (top of the CX-3 Model) with them - Service Dept told me needs New Screen….Cost $AUS 1,150. I told them no thanks - I was also informed by a different Mazda Dealer - Rear Camera needs replacing, I had told them Camera wasn’t working correctly. So when I sell my Mazda - I have to tell the prospective buyers…. Infotainment screen needs replacing & the camera at a cost of over $Aus2,000. Only 50km on the clock - Built 2016 (in excellent condition - always garaged …. I only mature lady driver….Would you buy another Mazda ? Have I been ripped off ????

The digitizers are defective. Mazda has an extended warranty on the screens for this exact problem. Hard resetting will not fix it
