10mpg, lol that's terrible regardless of which engine size your looking at. 40mpg at highway speeds constant 50 miles and hour is nothing great. Your in the low teens 10-15 mpg in city driving.

You need the metric system. Nobody cares for 16 kilometers per 4,3 liters. That's why we say it needs xy liters on 100 kilometers.

Mercedes here for american market gives 80liter tank and for EU 40- 50-60 and this is C lass not E

@@Mr11ESSE111 No, CLS is based on E klass. First CLS (C219) is based on W211, second CLS (C218) is based on W212 and current model is based on W213. W211, W212, W213 are E klass.

@@Mr11ESSE111 I wonder if this could do with the fact that this has a V8 petrol engine that uses about twice the fuel of the E-Class diesel the other day... Hmmm... FYI, the E63 AMG has an 80l fuel tank. Starting to sound a bit more reasonable now?
