Great review, The new tag and ceramic really make a difference the read/write is 9.5/10 on my galaxy s4 in a case. FYI: Digital door locks store the tag number so you dont need to worry about the tag filling up with lock information. it's stored on the lock... in theory you could save the ring to as many locks as you want...crazy right?

you should do more 3d printing videos...I loves getting ideas from there

Hey, do you have any idea if they will restock the 2016 rings? They look the best and they're all sold out except for the Helios which I personally would never wear.

Anyone with the 2016 model tested it to replace cards such as university ID cards or any other access cards? I'd love to reduce the size of my already minimalist wallet!

So can someone clarify? A NFC ring can only store like 2 codes on it? Why does that help? If I was to start using this I'd want it to store way more than that, like unlock my phone, replace my travel card, open my front door (as examples). Is this a general limitation or does it have some way of changing what it stores?

Dig this! right up there with Dimple.io :D Jordan, I've scoured the net for a product, a ring, that's also a trigger with a built in mic. I just think it would be a great idea to make such a device where I don't need to say "ok google" all the time and keep the phone in my pocket. Do you know if there is such a thing?

This is an awesome product but it pisses me off that they were able to trademark the words "NFC Ring", so have fun making another one and having it visible.

Be careful. I backed their first NFC ring kickstarter and didn't get the ring I requested. They just shipped me a template reject ring that didn't work for shit. The reason they give you those target stickers is because the ring will only work within a small quarter centimeter on your target device. I tested on a Samsung S5 and an iPhone 5 with similar results. I'm betting that a LARGE percentage of users didn't get the ring they asked for, and the ones that did got something that may technically work if you mess with it long enough but practically is useless.

What does NFC stand for?

Can it make me a peanut butter and jelly tortilla 😋. Can it unlock my truck and serve as a key fob for starting my car as a security key for a push start button alarm system? Can I wear it in the Bathtub? On my toe ? Or does it only work when your wearing a broken crown? With or without diapers.
