I use my NFC ring to unlock my phone and tablets, been pleased with the results.

That seems like the more 'obvious' way to use it (in a good way). This way when you hold your device, it will unlock.

can i make the nfc ring so that if i pick up a phone with nfc enabled it wil automaticly take and install an apk file ?

You cannot automatically install an APK file, and the ring wouldn't be able to contain a whole APK file. You could however store a tiny url that forwards to the play store or other location where someone could choose to download & install the app.

So I want to pick your brain a little! I want to be able to unlock my Moto X Pure without the need for a passcode/lockscreen; however i would like to keep the phone secure when not in my hands. I do not like the idea of the nfc ring because I'm not a big ring guy, and the same with a smart watch that could do the same thing through bluetooth connectivity. Do you have any solutions to my problem?

I got mine for 18 bucks on amazon. It looks really nice. An works well. You have to find the g spot tho...!!¡¡!!...

I've had my ring about two weeks after they shipped out. The tags are WEAK and when I contacted them they told me to "Learn your phones hotspot." Great looking ring, useless nfc tags. I HOPE when they ship me the carbon mode I originally order it works.

IMHO any NFC tag (except for the subcutaneous one) more expensive than 10$ is an absolute waste of money. I'd only buy a ring like this if it would be around 5$.

it's stupid to use NFC to do stuff on phone. as you will be holding you're phone! best use is to unlock stuff, as a switch/button, link Bluetooth devices.
