AWWWWW! THANK YOU FAITH!! Girl yes if it's what makes you happiest, continue! I honestly didn't find a good job until this last one. I went through a few crap design jobs till I found this one. My one little tip is to take an internship or two before you graduate. That way you can get some real world experience out in the design field to see how you like it and also to see what type of company you'd like to work for in the future. I interned at VIZIO during school which was such a great company and fun to work for but I didn't like doing all of the work because they were so strongly branded to one look and feel that I got very bored doing the same thing over and over every single day. That made me realize that I need to look for companies that have a lot of diversity in their branding to keep me on my toes every day. AND HAHAHA OMG I read this while Leo and I were making dinner last night and busted up laughing at the Leo part and read him the whole thing aloud. When I got to the second paragraph where you talk about your boyfriend he stopped and was like, "wait what?" I laughed and reread that part to him again and he paused, put down the spatula and thEN DABBED LIKE 50 TIMES IN A ROW LOL Thanks for making my night/day rereading this again this afternoon! WOW now I feel like I should just skip everything and go straight to the psychiatrist. I used to take medication when I was in jr. high and stopped. My OCD was average for a few years but started to get so much worse a few months ago. How many different medications did you go through to find the right one that didn't effect you in a negative way? My friend told me recently that she also takes OCD meds but stopped because a certain one made her feel like a zombie as well. I wonder if its the same one. But that makes me so happy that you've got it at a manageable state! That's an absolute DREAM!

Jasmine Rossol Definitely do whatever you feel is right for you. I went through 3 different prescription, but before that I went to 2 different psychiatrist before I found the right one. Zoloft was the one that made me feel like a zombie. I was just always in fog, luckily that was the first one I tried and knew that route of medication was not for me. I also noticed it improved when I finished college too, so it's been a relief to get my life back in order for sure!

Yeah I definitely did like taking medications and wish I hadn't stopped because it helped a lot. My sister has been inspiring me to try natural routes for a lot of things which is why I wanted to see if other methods might work better but the medications do actually just get straight to the point of fixing the chemical imbalances in the brain that I might just do that right off the bat. I think Zoloft was the one my friend took too... that's good to know haha that's so great that you've gotten your life back! I'm so much more inspired now to get it all sorted now as soon as possible! Thanks, girl.

OMG MIMI!!! That's like the exact same thing I do! I always have intrusive thoughts about horrible things and thought I was crazy until I found out that is actually a form of OCD. I also repeat things over and over again. Find someone in your life that you can talk to about it so you're not suffering alone. It really does help! Sometimes I go through a little OCD attack around other people who don't understand and because Leo knows what I have to deal with, he'll direct the attention away from me so I can settle/calm down. Some people won't understand but if they love you and care for you, they'll be very understanding and do their best to help. Leo and my sister are those people for me and I know you can find yours ♡ I'll definitely make a video on OCD!

It makes me feel like a bad person sometimes to have these horrible thoughts in my head even though I don't want to think about them at all but it's like I couldn't push these thoughts away and it's annoy me so much! I have OCD too and would love to see a video on it! I had "regular" OCD when I was little but it has evolved into "Pure" OCD (more based on intrusive thoughts and mental rituals). I've found medication and therapy to be very helpful (i'm on lexapro) but obviously everyone is different and need a unique treatment plan

like I said in the other comment, but maybe research POCD (or pure ocd)? It has helped me a lot to explain my awful thoughts to loved ones and not feel so alone.

Alex Fallon​ I just searched about pure ocd and I think I went through the same thing because I also used to had regular ocd like repeat things over and over again but then it's gotten worse and I started to have intrusive thoughts a few years ago. Ohh btw how long did you go to therapy and how did you feel after your first therapy session? I'm curious because I've never had therapy before.. maybe I'll explain to my family about the pure ocd because I think they know what regular ocd means but not about the pure ocd ones. :)

I used Procreate on the iPad and it's so much easier than scanning them, editing them, and turning them into PNGs which is what I was planning to do lol but I'll do a video on how I do actual brush lettering cause that's more fun than digital haha awww! That's so great!! Drawing and designing is such a great outlet too! Also thanks for all your sweet comments in 2016, I really appreciated them all ❤️❤️❤️

Hahahah thanks, Anthony!! It's pretty bad. I actually don't have the door locks thing but everything has to be perfectly organized. When I was younger (this one started around 4th grade) it'd take me all night to do my homework because I would erase every single word or sentence and rewrite it over and over and I'd always end up turning in my homework in late or incomplete. I also used to turn things on and off over and over or set my cup down at the table over and over till it felt "right." And I have what I found out recently to be "intrusive thoughts" and I also repeat phrases in my head and count over and over before I speak. So it literally consumes every waking moment of my day lol wow sorry that was so long.

Aww nahh it's all good. Couldn't tell until you told me. You're always so happy. BUT honestly, this makes you who you are. Who knows, if you didn't have this OCD, we might not have jasmine vlogs :0 I have a visual disability, and it's really bad. I'm legally blind in some ways. I can't drive :( not comparing my visual disability with your OCD lol just wanted to share :)

Anthony visual problems are terrible!! i have sensory processing disorder and because of it i am extremely nearsighted (i've only been able to see ten inches since first grade), have horrible depth perception, and have times when my eyes simply stop working due to sensory overload (my brain can't filter input so it shuts off the least important thing). usually this is just a blurring or shakiness but sometimes i completely can't see (it looks black like i fainted but i'm still fully conscious). and i aldo have ocd with similar tendencies to jas, as well as an extreme obsession with clicking and tapping sounds (i don't find them annoying, i have a compulsion to create them). bonding time haha

+lexxie rae :0 i have something similar. I have nystagmus, but the nerves in my brain for my vision was never fully developed. The doctor told me that unless there's some stem cell research cure, no surgery for my eyes can help me :( I also have a blur in my right eye, plus my eyes are super sensitive to light :( and sorry jasmine for the notificaitons lol

Honestly for me I sometimes still crave an In-n-Out burger then remember it was once a cute little cow and then I no longer crave it lol whether it's because the animals or health reasons, just keep that in mind and you'll do fine 💪🏼💪🏼💪🏼

+omg thank you! And that's fine, everyone is entitled to their own opinion. I color grade my videos because I shoot in Log which acts to preserves the highlights and shadows. The footage comes out flat, grey, and desaturated. As Log intends for you to do, I need to color grade and add LUTS or "filters" in order to bring life back into the footage. I don't know how else to respond to that comment other than I'm sorry it doesn't suit your video look preference!

+Karina anna I started working there before I became vegetarian. Also it's the best company I've ever worked at. The companies I worked at previously paid me close to nothing, micromanaged me, and didn't treat me like I was worth anything. I dreaded going to work every day and I was depressed. Taco Bell treats their employees with more respect than any other company I have ever worked at and it helps me pay my bills. I work in the best design department with the best team of people. They're amazing and I love it there. But yeah, please be the judge of someone else's life and not yours. Would you like me to quit the best job I ever had?

hmmmm...you basically work for a company that creates dog food. I can tell by majority of your responses to other's feedback that taking criticism is not your strongest suit, but in reality YOU will have to learn to roll with it when creating a youtube channel. It will happen. So please be the judge.

I can actually take constructive criticism very well. Constructive criticism is meant to help improve. Judging my job is not constructive criticism, it's just being judgmental. Also, I am fully aware that in having a RU-vid channel, I will come across more people who will be rude and judgmental. BUT, as in real life situations, I will stand up for myself if I feel someone is being rude to me in an unconstructive way. Just because this is youtube doesn't mean we are allowed to be rude to each other. If we were standing in front of each other, would you criticize my job to my face? Maybe, but also maybe not. If someone is kind to me, I will respond kindly back. If someone offers constructive criticism, I will keep it in mind. If someone is rude to me, I will defend myself as any normal person would. I am very happy where I work. Whether or not you agree with that is your choice. As I mentioned in this video, I just recently became vegetarian and am working towards implementing more of these practices into my life. I did not plan on quitting my job the second I chose to try the vegetarian lifestyle. I do however, support their vegetarian options in the meantime and am happy they've started to slowly add more to their menu. But yes, to answer your first question, I DO work at Taco Bell. I work in the creative department on the studio side that does not deal with any creation of advertisements dealing with meat. The studio side where I create logos and branding for Taco Bell Headquarter's children center which allows parents to go to work full time and still keep a close eye on their kids while Taco Bell provides loving care givers for children and the new babies. The studio side where I worked on projects like the Live Mas Scholarship that provides millions of dollars to kids who wouldn't qualify for normal scholarships so that they can pursue their dreams. I may not eat meat, but I LOVE what Taco Bell does for others. I love my job. The TBD studio and the people I work with every day bring me so much joy. They're an absolute PLEASURE to work with and treat me with so much respect. But as I'm typing this, I'm realizing that I don't have to explain this all to you. Your comment was just you judging my choice of work, not a constructive critique. I don't care if you disagree with the amazing job I've been given the opportunity to work at. The job that makes me happy, puts a roof over my head and food on the table. I don't even know who you are. If I'm happy and you're happy, that's all that matters. Right now, I'm very happy with where I am and I hope you are too.
