Aunque Robert " Sput " Searight ya tenía una carrera amplísima como musico profesional antes de unirse Snarky Puppy, sin duda esto le hizo más visible al mundo baterístico y día es sin duda uno de los músicos más influyentes de la música moderna .
Proveniente de una familia de músicos en Dallas , Texas , Robert "Sput"Searight estuvo junto a artistas como Erykah Badu , Norah Jones , y Roy Hargrove en el mundialmente famoso Booker T. Washington High School of the Performing Arts.

Although Robert "Sput" Searight had already a vast career as a professional musician before joining Snarky Puppy, this certainly made him more visible to the drummer world and nowadays is undoubtedly one of the most influential musician in modern music.
From a family of musicians in Dallas, Texas, Robert "Sput" Searight played with artists such as Erykah Badu, Norah Jones, and Roy Hargrove at the world-famous Booker T. Washington High School of the Performing Arts.
A technical drummer who transmits in a special way. We are sure that he will make us spend an incredible time.

Switching from a right handed drummer to a left handed drummer thru out a song without missing a beat is easier said than done. Mr Searight, you are my favorite drummer because of how gracefully and how easily you make these transitions. You were definitely born to do this. Awesome.

I frequently switch from right to left during a song. Problem is, it's not intestinal and trust me, I miss beats. So I'm equally amazed at this incredible talent.

Im a lefty playing open with a right-hand setup, I dont know if I will ever sound this good, but up until two years ago I was playing cross to the left., and have seen a dramatic improvement since making the switch. I love the musicianship from this brother and SP in general and to hear he is a fellow Texan, das wassup knolmtalnbat? Hope to catch him live one of these days, maybe I can work up the nerve to ask for some pointers. Keep doing your thing bro!

Paul Fuller man I appreciate the encouragement bro. I've been plugging at it for a while kept changing the set around until I found what was comfortable. Had a few of people give pointers, trying to pull me back in a more traditional approach. Everything I have learned was self taught little to no shedding so I am still very green. Can't wait for that day it all comes together.

Not bad . Not bad at all. Who I'm I kidding. Wonderful musical performance . Top chap ,and something to aspire to. Simply great he plays songs through drums . 10 out of 10. We drummers always play better when we have something to be musical with. As,apposed to announcing drum solo . Band goes to the bar . You are on your own . This is what it's about.

this tour was to promote the new product from some of the companies I endorse. It's kind of the point... Many people wouldn't know about it if we didn't doit... Definitely don't get a check for that either.....lol

of course you have to promote those products. the thing is, i watched each drummer's footage from this festival and as a coincidence, all the questions started with the gear quesiton. 'why don't you just start to introduce your product instead of building a q&a scenario?' is the thought that appears in my mind.

Fırat Balkaya There is a great feature on RU-vid that actually let's you "fast forward" or skip portions of a video. All it takes is just moving your hand 2 inches at most.

And alot of times we appredectress Drummers play things the real young cats only read off and the real young people don't think that old school solid pocket playing first is not worth anything but it is because that's how all of the greats that the young people really admire started

And we play things that doesn't make sence but it does and we have to learn the same burkely rudements as a right handed professional Drummer the difference is we reverse the situation back and forth with to open up more combo's of rudements and in some places where we appredectress Drummers go to play at some throw that hater mantality at us in some places including in the church

lol....idk why i seemed lost but I was having so much fun just being free and creating that maybe its just better to listen to it than watch me...lol..that was a really a bad delivery if you thought i was lost at 14:10...ouch...... 7:10 i was playing by myself ,improving ......???? there def was no malfunction there either
