Suicide Squad wasn't a bad movie, it was just badly written, badly directed and by some actors (Joel Kinnaman, Adam Beach, and the guy in the club Joker shot -who even was that?) the rest need awards for trying to pull the shit together honestly.

Todd Feigenbaum Oh stop, it's still enjoyable, though it should be 12 episodes at most a season to cut the fat. Last couple seasons before Negan showed up, it had some legitimately good episodes that brought it out of its rut (I.e. Tyreese's death episode was fantastic). But I don't put it in any category like Breaking Bad or Mad Men. It's just an enjoyable show to watch on a Sunday night, and I don't know why people shit on it so hard. I think the back half of the current season will pick up now that the "slow" stuff is sort of out of the way.

Perhaps...however, my issue is with how the TV show is managing the story so far...specifically the fake out death of Glenn last year and the violence porn that was episode 1 of the current season. Maybe that stuff works better in a graphic novel format, but on a TV show, in my view, it does not. The way the story meanders all over the place with no consistent main theme or thread is annoying and every TV show story needs a clear end point eventually. The TV show Lost suffered in quality terribly until the show runners picked an end date and followed through.

That's not a good thing. Assassins creed Plot has been one of it's biggest problems since the first game.

If you have a guilty pleasure for a crappy film, that's fine. Hell, be proud of that! But stating that Assassin's Creed is a good film, that's just wrong. And you know it.

The movie was just awful... It was a 5 hour movie with a 3 hour runtime. It was in desperate need of slowing down and explaining shit. Besides that, they did so much gimmicky shit and over-the-top melee action that it was just hard to watch. If they literally just turned the games into movies, it would have ended up MUCH better than the shitshow we were saddled with.

José Pablo C. Sánchez Season 2 is fine. It's not bad. The show is still good. However, season 2 is not as good as season 1 and if I were you, I would skip episodes 3 and 9. I just can't deny the fact that season 2 suffered the same problem the Marvel-Netflix suffer from which is the too many episodes bullshit. The best episodes of this season are the last 3 (they actually progress the plot of this show). And Sam Esmail was wrong, season 1 is way darker than season 2.

The plot rarely moved forward until the last episode. Another thing that i thought bodered most people was how the director suddenly believed he was the next kubrick or tarantino and focused on shots and other movie refernces than instead of the plot itself.

That Guy Wow, he focused on shots? It's almost like he's a director or something. I will agree that it was slower and can understand why that would turn some people off of it, but I personally was never bored. It focused on characters more, I like it more overall than I like the first season.

B V S is pretty terrible but Avengers Age of Ultron is pretty meh. Not awful like B V S but defiantly not very good.

Dgs Age of Ultron is a very enjoyable movie that gets by due to it being fun though fairly generic. BvS was just a humorless time with nothing particularly memorable, but I still give it a pass due to Ben Affleck and a couple genuinely cool scenes. But as a whole it's waaaaay more of a mess than any Marvel film. That's why DC's lack of universe building is so baffling, idk how they thought BvS could actually work without some sort of context. They tried to set too much up in one film and couldn't set up a cohesive/compelling conflict. And also Jesse Eisenberg was very much miscast along with the Doomsday nonsense thrown in at the end. It's just such an enormous disappointment considering what the fans know it could and should have been.

Luke Davey I was hoping Kachichiro would just tell Andrew Garfield's character that renouncing his religion doesn't change what he believes. Instead he did it out of desperation, and the writer threw in a cheesy twist ending. I know I should take the movie for what it was, but I think the pacing in the second half was only necessary for that particular telling of the story.
