+MarineMax - I believe you have your online marketing model down, (and I enjoy your walkthroughs) but please accept one piece of professional advice. Someone needs to talk to your brokers about over using platitudes while describing the features of the boats. It lowers the credibility of the brokers and WILL reduce your successful leads.
If I were a salesman, I would pay out of my own pocket to professional produce a promo video to "show" management the value of effective communications. This is a dual edge sword because the seller and buyer both see the commitment the company has to prospective parties. Good luck with your future endeavors. Thanks !!!
I also laughed when I saw that. Also, I noticed that when he tried to make the glass holder recess into the countertop, it stopped halfway, and you could see and hear him try to get it to work a second time before he moved on as if nothing had happened. If that would happen during a video to sell the boat, how much actual quality is built into this thing?
I see guys do that all the time on these videos but the sunglasses get me I picture him selling weed to tourists in Mexico, lol just kidding that's terrible.
Hello, is that massive teak platform submersible to make toys and dinghies easy to launch and recover? Please know the details buyers need to know before you do a review. Forget the marina queen wine cooler, if Sea Ray is ever going to get past the weekend cruiser boat, they need an oven and additional refrigeration and freezer space. BTW I love Sea Rays and all comments are meant to be constructive except not knowing the boat before you give a review.
i understand this was on a boat i dont mind the slight wobbling of the camera but why does it look like the video has delay between the individual pixels? its hard to describe but you'll notice it
OK, I get that you are selling a product, but the worst thing a salesman can do is over sale a product. Don't say the upholstery is as fine as it gets. Or the bedroom is as big as most master bedrooms, because that's ridiculous. What are you comparing it to? There are dozens of boat manufacturers that will show you similar size forward cabins I'm certain of.. Nice boat though, Good job Sea-ray!
This is what i like. Putting music in the video is explaining what about the boat???? Its stupid if u trying to sale a boat without explaining about the boat.
Too bad Sea Ray is no longer manufacturing yachts over 40'. Terrible decision. This is a beautiful high quality yacht. The one for biggest bang for the buck is the Sea Ray 480. Obviously not as decked out as L650 but you can pick up a used one for under $400k and it is a very nicely appointed yacht. Nice job on the walk through. Take the criticisms for what they're worth and make it better next time.
Why does this guy sound like he is just hitting puberty but the RU-vid showing is a good way to go so keep doing that ( I don’t mean to be mean) “STEP FOWARD!” Lmao
This guy needs a week at MarineMax University! His overuse of 'elegant' 'transition' "UTMOST QUALITY." I mean c'mon. Did this guy's DOG JUST DIE? He is so NOT into it! Watching this makes me want to say "IF" I were to call about this boat, I would be saying, "I would like to talk to a sales consultant about your 650 please - and also please..give me anyone BUT the guy in your video!.
WTH! I'm sure 95% of these negative comments about the sales pitch can't even afford this Yacht! Who gives a shit about his presentation, I got the money, I want that Yacht! Don't give a Damn whose selling or their pitch to sell!
On the fly bridge model, they should have removed the helm in the salon and only had one on the flybridge, gotten rid of the crew quarters in place for a dinghy garage and extra storage. As well as (I dont know if this is just configuration for this one or not) instead of a wine cooler added a dishwasher. Everything else is just beautiful and well thought out. This is like a prestige but with 100 times better quality
What does the "L" stand for? Luxury maybe? Also im curious, is this yacht really 65 foot, or is that LOA, (length overall)? Measured from the tip of the bow pulpit to the end of the swimdeck, instead of measuring at the waterline. A 65 foot yacht with no salon or galley below decks?? Either way its a sweet vessel and a different look than the classic sea-ray express cruisers or sundancers. I still prefer an older 52-57 foot Chris craft constellation, commander or even the roamer. (Aluminum hull). You can actually find one under 100k and live on it!! Lol im dreaming again. It still costs a bundle to own. Insurance, buy/rent a slip big enough, maintenance, fuel, haulouts and storage/winterizing, (if needed). Hmmmm...... yep, im in! Three bedroom, two bath home for sale!! Lol.
This guy said the same thing ( immediate, elegance and best that SeaRay has to offer) about every boat he puts on RU-vid lol. If your selling a muti million dollar boat, you think they would use a editing suite that would remove the flicker on the glass navigation lol.
fall down the back steps, and that spare prop will cut parts of you off, you might want. beautiful boat. this man is different in ways I don't know... someone explain
People are being real tough on this sales rep, but give me a phone with a good camera, and an hour to edit, and I'd make him look good. He'd probably hate me for making him do multiple takes in parts of this, but not after he saw the final edit. As far as the boat itself, I like a more informal vibe, and cooking and bartending is part of my schtick, so I'd dispense with the crew quarters aft and use that space as a day head, a place to stash a change of clothes for after swimming (hose off the sand and salt, and then catch a quick real shower), and as a sickbay/first aid equipment storage. While the consensus is that mid-ship is optimal for seasickness, someone with a sudden need to vomit might not make it all the way to the head in their cabin, leaving a mess to clean up in a more fashionable part of the boat. Also, I've been told on whale watching tours that when experiencing discomfort while the boat is moving at a steady clip, the stern close to the waterline is not necessarily the worst spot. I never needed to test that advice, and I imagine it doesn't apply when the boat is at rest in rolling water. Totally different motion dynamic. Still, in all, it's probably better to puke in the utilitarian head, even if you don't want to hang around there afterwards. 👍
Also, if you're smart, and keep a few discreetly hidden puke buckets, this is where you dump them, instead of over the side like a cafone (commonly misspelled/pronounced gavone).
He almost forgot the W/D. Most important thing for the wife! "Yes dear it's a cute boat but the kitch... WHAAAAT WASHER DRYER STACK! WRITE THE CHECK WRITE THE CHECK!"
V LS I doubt it. I imagine her fuel tanks don't have trans-Atlantic (let alone trans-Pacific) capacity. Further, food storage would be a problem and I don't know if her engines are rated for continuous duty. I'm no expert, but I think she's more of a picnic boat/coast hugger.
I’ll have 2 - what a salesperson “come aboard” (when they’re already onboard and have been for over a minute). ... haha - loved it ... but seriously, is he on drugs ??
