I miss this era of ball drop where Toshiba still sponsors the event, it was WAY more colourful than today's ball drop and they barely shoots any fireworks nowadays, what a bum. This was the 2016 ball drop BTW, man, 2016 was the best years of my childhood, I was 11-12 back then, I was in 6th and 7th grade, the golden era.
They stopped shooting many fireworks because there was more people coming to the event and would go on the sides where the fireworks would come out and people could get injured with hot parts of a fire go onto people head so yeah that’s why there’s not that many fireworks
2016 was the awesomest year of my life, all de-ja-vu, nostalgia from the past returned back, me mainly going there in over 16 years eight years ago, other memories i had that year and Undertaker becoming 23-1 for the whole of 2016.

This was 2016 lol I usually watch the ball drop every New Year’s Eve. But hadn’t been watching them since Covid hit aka 21-22-23 or 24. Always had a new yard resolution but this year I said fuck it cause I never completely follow all the way through with them anyway. Now I’m just going to set small accomplish able goals . Until I’ve set my mind to the great task of doing what I set out on the new years to have achieved
