140L tank means I can go almost 1500 Km on a single tank on Toyota Prado in Pakistan with the average of 11Km/L & I think that is awesome ❤

prado is way better than fortuner. For me, toyota landcruiser prado Manual transmission is the best prado variant.

In Middle East we get the 4.0 V6 Prado which is a beast; does 0-100 in 8.5 sec.

terryyouth fortuner is more economical, as maintenance cost is low as well as fuel consumption is also lower than prado

After you touch every materials, parts, functions of both cars, you will definately clearly feel prado much better. Eventho prado is 20k $ more expensive, almost all parts of the cars provide better quality materials like dashboards qualities, seats, suspensions, safe many more. So it`s worth to choose prado.

i think fortuner is better because for the same price you can have only 4 cylinders in prado nd 6 in fortuner

also, the ground clearance has been revised to 225mm for the fortuner.

Thanks Steve, your correct Toyota Australia downgraded the fortuner ground clearance from 279mm to 225mm.

Hi Praco, the Fortuner is based on the new eight-generation Toyota Hilux ute. It's hard to draw a direct comparison of the vehicles, as it depends on the application of how your using it.

Seems that Fortuner is based in Hilux and 4Runner is based on Tacoma. Tacoma itself can be seen as the American version of Hilux! Basically Toyota plays the same song with different instruments in different countries! :))

Dude the hilux format was on which the 4Runner and surf were based , when they killed the surf they gave Asia the fortuner , the Tacoma was based on the Toyota hilux and advanced as a separate platform afterwards

Prado in US is the Lexus GX 460. The Fortuner in the US is the 4 runner.

Why these Toyota peps only put nice suv in Aussie not in United States which sucks with useless suv 4Runner which haven’t redesign since decades only the kluger which is descent running but no off road ..please toyota don’t something about the 4 runner or bring the fortuner to US which they have to think a million miles away 🙏

terryyouth You're correct actually, the Fortuner for the Australian market comes from Thailand. It is also manufactured in Argentina, India, Indonesia, South Africa, etc...

New technology all suck ..both have transmission shifting problems same as the new hi lux .. Toyota has no fix yet . I met a guy full of regret after buying one
