OEM Tools AIRVAC Cooling System Refiller. Model # 24444. They are not a sponsor.
Some manufacturers have systems that are difficult to bleed the air out of the cooling system and recommend using such a device. This particular model was pretty easy to fill without encountering air bubbles. For the RAV4, all you need is a spill free funnel.
I bought this tool to change the coolant on a 2007 Prius which I understand is harder to eliminate air bubbles.

I wish that I had found this video YESTERDAY! Even though I provided the thermostat, distilled water, and Toyota coolant I just paid $140 to a radiator specialist to do a 100k mile coolant service on my C-HR because I had never changed the coolant on a capless radiator system before. And I thought that I needed one of those coolant vacuum drain and refill tools. It bothers me that I found this video the day after I spent the money!!! I could have done this myself.

I did two RAV4's, one with the AIRVAC and one without the AIRVAC using the no-spill funnel. There was no difference, in other words the RAV4's cooling system is so simple that it's very easy to burb the air bubbles out. The AIRVAC is handy for the Prius that I did, because the Prius has a lot of passages for the coolant that makes it difficult to burb out the pockets of air. Thanks for watching!

@@davidgpo I was watching this video to see how you used AIRVAC, and then you said you did the same coolant service with the no-spill funnel. I didn't know that I could do it with MY no-spill funnel. I thought I had to buy a vac-system to do it.

@@theylied1776 With the RAV4 the no-spill funnel is the way to go. One would only need the Airvac with cars that are known to have problems burping the air pockets out.

@@davidgpo Thank you! I didn't know. It just goes to show, when you ask the wrong question, you get the wrong answer. I was asking how to use an AIRVAC System, but I should have been asking... can I still use my No Spill Funnel?
