Just a little observant 4 years later sense this was before the crash. #6 on takeoff seemed to take the aircraft to where it was near stalling and to dive and pull out, basically a low level loop. Its supposed to be a split S maneuver, but from this angle, it looked like it wasn’t. Perhaps on the day of the crash he actually stalled the aircraft doing the same thing and wasn’t high enough to regain enough air speed to level the air craft out.
I wish #6 would keep the burner on during his sneak pass behind the crowd. I think the Thunderbirds do a better job at making noise across the showline. Love the Blue Angels though.
+Jonathan Fisher Thunderbirds are an entirely different team and aircraft. Just one of their jets generally will make more noise from what I can tell as all 6 of the Blue Angel's. #6's sneak pass is ridiculously hard to photograph I was out there all 5 days trying to get it right.

+azframer Ofcourse it is. But that doesnt mean #6 can't come over at .9 then hit the cans. That's what I'd WISH they would do. Most of the time when you look through videos, 6 is late anyway.
Blue Angel #6 seems to be having quite a bit of trouble with his plane.Always have to switch out. He landed early at El Centro too. Wonder what's wrong. Anyways great video and great filming!
My best guess is he probably is flying one of the older jets, last year Villy was flying a 20+ year old F/A-18C. Since the team get the retired jets from the fleet and the fleet is not getting any new jets I don't see it getting much better soon.
+MrAviator Boii that's would be great. but a wall of fire for the sneak pass would be awesome as well to simulate the sonic boom. and a strafing from the Number 5 sneak pass.

That was basically the goal. I love the narration, but I can't stand the loud music. Especially when it's louder than the Jets at times. Plus the music is third-party content, and I can't get paid for my videos if that's in my videos. Even if it's coming from a PA system. Sucks, but those are the rules.
***** First off, I'm well aware of how the practice, and have been for twenty years. Second, no other Blue Angels team in at the very least recent memory has had so many glaring problems like this this late into the season (Jones Beach, again, line abreast looked HORRIBLE.) Third, you have to be quite the idiot yourself to charge in and insult people you know nothing about. Like me, who's been following the Blue Angels closely since the late 1980s.
***** Jones Beach was last week. And with all your blabbering just now, if any of that was true, you should know that by MAY, they should be able to maintain a line abreast without going all over the place. Heck, you should know by the SECOND show, the line abreast shouldn't look as horrible as it did.
