I decided to get them instead of the 9s that are dropping next week. I tried them on at mall of america today and I'm not sure why people were saying the tumbled leather wasn't great quality. I think once they are broken in, the leather will be incredibly good. I also love the nike air and the red tongue.

look thay even dropped the tab that says Nike air in the back and the reason thay did that is because it capt cutting in to Jordan's Kinsley tendon so thay got the back tab right to and lowered it on the 2016 do you see how the tab is a bit higher on the 2011

love the video man you describe it very well except for one thing you have to describe the Comfort level of the two that's important to me and I believe others as well Comfort level goes far in the end does it really matter how it looks if it's not feeling good on your feet

the leather is genuine on the 2016 and the 2011 are synthetic people used do bitch about the leather now thay put real leather on them and people still bitch the original have darker blue the red tongue in the back and slightly tumbled full grain leather just like the 88 it has to be kids bitching about them or someone that never seen the original 88

We normally pay twice the amount to rock them before they release. Besides the cost in hand I just was not feeling it. Maybe when the hype goes down. There was a air Jordan 11 gray suede premium tho. I just got the 2016 pair I prefer the 2016 pair because the red gives it a more alive color plus the Nike air on the back

7 years later... i had the 2011s that i have bought in amsterdam nl at that time...just walked up and they had them in stock. loved the 2011 and when they broke inn...wow...comfy...very nice 3. i also bought the 2016 and beside the nike label....these are narrow and really stiff.tooo much padding too. i remember when i was wondering about the EP color....haha. i just recently broke them out and i gotta say that the 2011 was very comfy in comparsion. but still nice to have em tho...i miss the 2011 i gotta say tho. dont get me wrong,my 2016 are flawless and really nice,but they killed my feet at first 3 wears...not even a hour and i went half size up to 11😂. nice to have these old videos around to watch,nice.

I picked them up today from city gear. I like the way they look on feet. That's all that matters to me. You shouldn't worry bout the shoe material if you take care of them 💯.

My pair doesn't have the high elephant print (thank god). I think it varies depending on size. But the comfort is way better on the 2016 pair. There's more of a fluffier bouncy feeling.

For me the only reason I bought these was because of the Nike Air and red tongue...pretty much the same reason I bought the Maroon 6's, White Cement 4's, and Metallic 5's. Don't get me wrong, each shoe are dope on their own, but not trying to buy the same ol' from JB as they've given us multiple times since the turn of the century. I was born in '82 and have been wearing J's since I was five so I have an expectation of what these shoes are supposed to properly look like. Leather quality, it is what it is and for me personally, being as (probably like you!) I have sooo many freakin' shoes these will get worn like once or twice a year in the most pristine conditions so I'm not going to notice a drop off. Should the leather be better? Your damn right for $220! Just cause we have disposal income doesn't mean we want to be ripped off, but as I've said I'm just happy it looks the way they did when I was a kid

The 2016s are diffinitly softer. I like em both just think the 2011 are made better just a firmer show seem to be the ones that will last longer.

the Nike air on 16z iz a tiny bit doper but blue on tongue and liner and insole of 11z make it destroy 16 pair also shade of grey way less yellow looking on 11z also like the team red look on 11z and overall jumpman shape and tumbled genuine leather on 11z I do like more elephant print on 16z tho so wouldn't b mad at that if I could just dye that tongue liner.... . ... thanx again for doin this cuzzo no surprise not selling out last I checc and won't b mad if they did

Look I Have the true blues and the indiglo 14s. People say the 14s had "premium tumble leather" wrong. It's the same damn leather. 190 plus tax 204 220 plus tax 234 it's all the Nike branding the quality didn't change from any other shoe in 2016.

Nobody wore the OG True Blues back in '88. Believe it or not, the leather on the 2016 is true to the OG leather.

Just by having the Nike Air on the back and a red tongue is enough for me. You go ahead and pick the 2011 ones, they're just a bad and false copy of the original. I guarantee you in 20 years the 2016 OG one will cost way more then the 2011 copy.

The ‘16 is more authentic.. but the leather is pleather... they’re crap... no leather on the ‘16s at all... I haven’t seen the ‘11s in hand but if they are the same material I’d pick the ‘16 over the ‘11s.

The leather quality is much better in the 2016 pair. It's 100% genuine leather as apposed to being partially synthetic. The over all structure of the shoe is booty. The midsole paint job is booty. But there will always has been and always will be some sort of flaw on any shoe.

Learn about leather first everyone thinks if the leather is soft it makes it better not true do your research.The real OG's had FULL GRAIN LEATHER I remember back then you take your sneaks out the box it will have your room smelling like leather today these sneakers don't even smell like leather until it get back to the full grain leather being used stop wasting time about leather quality.
