If a shoe looks, feels, and smells just like a pair that you got off of SNKRS, what is fake about it ? Nike contracts with factories from China which is where the “fakes” come from also so who’s to say they’re not coming from the exact same place to begin with ? The only difference is how much you pay and who you paid to get them. Every retail shoe has inconsistencies so that is a dead arguing point. The whole idea of fake vs real in 2021 is about the mentality of the person who is buying them. At the end of the day all of this stuff is exactly the same.

@@JacobMarcellus I’m not saying you’re wrong but I’m not saying you’re right either. There’s absolutely no way to tell exactly where any of these shoes are originating from. Nike rotates different factories all the time. All I’m saying is we don’t know so there’s no point is saying what is fake and what isn’t when there’s always the possibility that they could be coming from the same place. These places are run by humans just like any place else, Nike doesn’t have some special factory that only they have access too to make any shoes.

@@SmittDawgg simple is that these replicated shoes are counterfeit goods made to be put on the black market . They have their factories get retail pairs deconstruct the shoes and make molds from them to make their own. They go to different suppliers to get materials similar to Nike .

Just like the local bread factory, they produce 4-5 different brands of bread, some are best quality some low quality. Some mid quality. Then you have a particular lower cost bread that’s just as good as the most expensive bread. But some won’t buy it because they want the higher “name brand”. People don’t realize that when Nike contracts out the shoes to be made by so many vendors. That no shoe is identical. This is not Mercedes Benz where if it doesn’t pass quality control then It gets gutted and scrapped. These shoes just get discounted.

It's insane how far along fakes have come along. Very eye opening video for me. Have had a love for shoes since my teen years. Spotting fakes then was so simple. Now I am 36 in 2 weeks and getting back into collecting as I have the time and financial means to do so again. Definitely makes me wonder what I am buying sometimes. My Jordan 4 Tattoos should be arriving today and definitely gives me a slight case of paranoia with how realistic and advanced the counterfeit shoes can be nowadays. Awesome video bro!

Just buy reps. Ya'll never gonna hit on SNKRS for retail because of bots, and paying resell isn't sustainable. This way you're not afraid to wear em / crease em. If you pay resale, you're always going to wonder if they're just really good reps. Plus, when they're on feet, no one is going up to you and comb through the details and tell you the stitching is too thin or too thick by 1/8 of an inch.

Great review bro! But can you actually show that these reps aren’t the same as retail please! & what I mean by that is that there’s no actual air in the damn air units! It’s something I’ve been saying over & over again & again but no one that reviews reps ever mentions that tho!🤷🏻‍♂️

You can’t show that unless you destroy the shoe. You can check my concord 11 video that ripped apart on me playing basketball. They do have units. Top grade fakes have air units in them.

This comparison is so cap. You can put two retail pairs together and spot a million differences between them. Funny enough, my retail pair looks more like the fake pair than the real pair around the toe area.

Before you speak you should check a persons content first. I have a playlist of retail vs retail and yes the shoes have some differences. Im not sure if you watched the video completely but there’s distinct differences to make sure that the shoe you paid resell for isn’t a counterfeit. By the way I didn’t even bother to mention the toe area because it varies.

Right off top the toe box you can tell. The new retail release has the 2001 toe box. All the fakes had the 2010 bottle nose dolphin toe box. I landed 10 pair and the toe box was consistently the same

Let me say this, this damndemic has fucked everything up. Supply and demand on everything now more than ever. Every since them stimmy check were released everybody started wearing js. I lost out at DTLR they normally hold a toy drive and give you a guaranteed ticket but theymade us stand in line just to say they ran out of adult sizes. Therefore I have been getting my pocket burned all year on goat. I had to buy the cool grey on goat $82 over retail I'm sick of it!!!!

With them looking practically identical to the authentic pair I’d buy the fakes every time and save money.. I’m not a collector, I just wear them so I don’t think it’s economically sound to spend 100’s more for the same shoe. Not to mention the people who make the fakes also make the authentics
