I can chime in here since I have experience with both, in my opinion the STi is the better "daily driver" because of the all wheel drive, 4 doors, good gas mileage and fun drive. That being said, I think the GT is a better all around car (cheaper to make more power, arguably more reliable, looks better, Mustangs have the largest aftermarket for any car ever made) but it does have its drawbacks when being driven every day. So for a daily, I would go STi, for the fun weekend car or car to make a lot of power with, 5.0 all day long with no regrets.
@@cat740dt yeah thats were im leaning cause the mustangs went up in price in my area. 5.0 mustang going for 35k used and I can get a newer sti for 28k but with less than 50k miles on it and I like both cars
@@kingb055 I feel you, every car on the used market seems to be inflated by about 3-5k nowadays. I just hope they go down sometime soon because I want a Cummins next and I don't want to pay 50k for something with 100 thousand miles.
For me personally i think the STI is a better option because i do live in Ohio so snow is an issue here. The AWD is super nice majority of the time if I’m going honest. Mustangs are great cars but i just can’t beat the Subaru!
@@cat740dt how are you saying STI gets good gas mileage, it gets worse than a GT, only thing it has is the AWD. Im also in the deciding GT or sti for daily but a hawkeye sti would be nice with built engine.
It would be too loud for me on the road I think; and there is a resonance/rattle sound in there but otherwise I loved the deep tone which I'm guessing fully goes away warmed up. I think I like the UEL sound as it reminds me of the V8s I owned as a youth, plus that deep note ... may not be the 7.6L Pontiac Grand Ville I miss, but it to me yours would sound nearly as sweet with a bit of muffling. I plan to get an STi in a year or two so I love videos like this. Clear, to the point, and good audio, ty and a like for the video ;)
