I just bought a 2019 EPS Camo. The 686cc engine is a proven workhorse. With the Ultramatic transmission and a ten year belt warranty this thing is crazy reliable and fun.
I am totally sold! I’ll be getting one this fall. One funny thought though…why are they talking about how it’s made for work…then all the advertisements and reviews show videos of trail riding?
+Derek Beare this bike is made for work. the kingquad is made for fun and play, kingquad would have more power becuase its 50cc more. but i bet the kodiak would out pull the kingquad
i bought mine in matte black , special edition !! i'm not disappointed at all !! and it looks awesome,and i mean it !! Yamaha is the best!! not like Polaris , sorry Polaris guys it sucks !!! this bike will bet Polaris any day !!!
she's the beast form hell , not a problem , not one issue, love it!!! great all-round bike for work and play. thinking buying another for the young fellow!!! Yamaha all the way!!! cheers!!!!!!!!! hows yours?
no it's a great bike for work and pleasure !! if your looking for something with a lot of speed and high end power no don't buy this bike!! as for reliability and for work , towing and trail riding can't ask for any better.the only issue i have with the bike the gas tank is not big enough , always seen to be on empty every time i want to use it LOL,!!! only takes about 2 gallons of gas!! the other thing i don't like, the tires don't stick out a past the rims enough. if u scrub the tires on the rock it will scratch the nice matte black finish rims!! looks horrible now !!! but it"s a quad i guess,it's going to get scratched up though !!! the bike could use a bigger motor to keep up with the competition . but i'm not looking for speed just looking for low end power which this bike has and is very comfortable to ride and easy to steer !!! if your looking for a bike to keep up with the Polaris scrambler 1000 or the can of hams 1000 !!! no it wont!!! but u wont be broke down on the trail !! cheers!!
personnaly I am disappointed with Yamaha utility atv's for the 2016MY. Offering ONLY two is a huge flaw. Why not have Grizzly and Kodiak with the 500 or 550 cc engine?? Or even a 350 or 400 cc engine? It's called entry level. My sisters and mom would not want to drive a 700cc engine. Not a good move Yamaha.
at the :25 second mark, you lost me. how tall is that guy, he looks humped over trying to ride a little kids toy, lol all day trail riding does not look smooth on this machine, every vid i have seen the little yam is bouncing all over the trials trying to run with the big boys, grrrr. ok you get reliable machines that are made for 125 lbs 5 foot 2 tall people, lol that are tuff....but you don't get any horsepower, or a larger atv, stock atvs are not going anywhere in the northern saskatchewan, better have a buddy or a winch. hard packed city type trials this should rock them trials, lol. yamaha.....get a vtwin, offer more than 50 hp, offer a two up frame.....do that n you'll clean up, the junk everyone else is selling.....hello, people are buying junk like polaris cuz polaris is giving riders what they want....however poor quality keeps yamaha and honda alive....as a buyer i feel like everyone selling expensive junk or expensive over priced kids toys. ARGO is making a nice atv line up....maybe the new leaders in atv's people actually want to buy? a 1000 cc 2 up atv.
