I found you from the grizzly videos. I have interest in the tat as well and am curious your approach and plan for doing it. I’m originally from North Carolina so a trip back and then drive across the country to Montana where I live now sounds entertaining
My brother bought a 500 and wants to sell it as hes afraid to ride it, thinking of buying it and putting a extension kit to give the front a 6inch wider stance to help with the random tipping
Thanks much for the kind words. I've been stuck on a rear bumper fabrication... mainly because my truck has an electrical problem that I can't seem to find... meanwhile I've been obsessed with mountain biking and GNCC eMTB racing (no truck needed)... I plan to make a few more videos for this series, and still planning a coast to coast ride - all good! Thanks for writing
@@PrzemekKluza awesome! Yeah I'll hit you up. I plan on creating a detailed invitation when I get more organized, I have four riders, including you, that are very much interested. It will be way more fun with a group of us.
I just got a 2023 king quad 750 SE. I chose it over the can am 850 outlander for its reliability. Yeah, it lacks power, but I'll choose reliability over power every day. The ease of maintenance is crazy how accessible everything is. I'll get through the ruff stuff slower, but not stuck in the woods broke down 15 miles away from the truck, lol. I hope my machine makes 10,000 miles.
I have a 2021 Yamaha Kodiak 450 SE with diff lock and EPS. I absolutely love it. I will say it’s actually really fast it smoked my rancher 420 in a race. It toppes out about 53mph on a straight away. Down a hill I hit 57 mph stock one mine. That’s really fast for a 421 cc 28hp Kodiak.
I am so glad that I was able to meet you, do a little work in your shop on my 250R, and race at your mayslick property. Nicky/Nikki, thank you as well. Chris gave me the confidence to do my own work on my machine with very good results at the time. I am very happy to have crossed paths, and I will never forget that!
Jeremiah, doug gust, dustin wimmer, natalie this guys made me race quads and in the end become a motorcycle mechanic and ive been in the industry since 2008 i still ride the #2 as well (raced with it). Big love and blessings to this men. I lost my jeremiah signed poster.
The tuner and airbox makes sense to make motor happier and run properly, you gain 2-3 hp also which is nice. The exhaust and especially the duals is completely useless.. 500-800 for exhaust when it adds 1-1.5 hp is not noticeable and completely useless. Plus the grizzly idles soo damn high all the time it is loud always, even with quiet core in.. everyone out there skip the exhaust always… use your money on a winch and skid-plates or something that protects the bike and helps you in other areas.
I was a super fan during the days when this happened. I donated to the recovery and even got a signed Dana Creech graphics kit from the raffle. I'm so sorry you've had a hard time of it JJ. I wish you nothing but the best, it was a great joy to watch you compete.
I started racings in 00-01 outlaw tracks like blackrock.. Jeremiah was like a legend around here, what everyone wanted to be like. There was a lot of pros around here in early 00s. Jeremiah, Jeremy logsdon, the sipes. Glad he's doing good
Racing a Grizzly with renegade 1000’s is like you racing a 125 against pros on 450’s.. You must be a hell of a racer to do that good on that vs renegades. Nice job.
This is crazy.. a canam 570 has more power stock then a gross with all these mods.. If your buying a grizzly for power then you are slow on the head lol.. you buy a grizzly cause of comfort and reliability… if you want power you but any 570+ Polaris or canam lol.. come on people it isn’t hard to understand this..
I had a zoomed in pic of 00:35 I took from the top of Gravity Cavity. I printed it on photo paper then and since then it is 90% faded out. The original digital pic is gone. I also still have the poster Jeremiah signed 30 minutes before this happened on my garage wall. Was great back then to see atv's racing at Unadilla. Not a rider anymore but still a fan of racing 👍
that quad that team hyper was running sure looks like a yfz450. Possibly an early prototype or a walsh chassis quad that just happens to look like a yfz?? I know they weren't on the market yet in 2003.
Thanks much Mike :) Sorry my best race wasn't also yours - heard you crashed. Glad you're ok and hope you look past that and dig eMTB racing enough to do it again. I think it's awesome (as you can tell :) Hey I uploaded my GoPro here if you want to check it out. facebook.com/100000217484236/videos/834559291545378/
