+don ervin Thanks man!! Yeah, definitely practice your skills on the 07, because this bike is on another level of power in comparison. It's such a nice bike!
Sickest XSR Review video out there! Crazy quality man. Wtf was up with that glitchy ass speedometer though. It matched the music in the beginning of the video though lol
+MC Mr White Thanks man! Looking back I wish I wouldn't have done the review on a group ride/test day, but I worked with what I had. My iphone camera didn't like the LCD display, but It doesn't flicker in person haha.
+Charlie M I agree, I would have loved to take the bike up some twisties or at least been on my own to really push the bike. I want to see the yellow one in person as well someday! Definitely an amazing machine.
+You Toober A mode was definitely a lot more "touchy" in comparison to the standard. I know I didn't really touch up on the feeling of each mode, but A could be used regularly for sure
+ALLDAYANTHONY Thanks for responding. Another question: when the bike is low on fuel, I heard there's a light that keeps flashing, to let you know the fuel is low. My question is there a way to turn it off or make the light steady (not flash)? Or, it's not something you can change.
+You Toober That;s just a part of owning a motorcycle. On this bike there is also a digital fuel gauge that will flash when you are low. Thats not something that you would want to turn off
+ALLDAYANTHONY I understand one has to be aware of fuel levels (i ride myself), but i had the idea in my mind that the flashing would be distracting to me as i was riding the bike. In my opinion, a non-blinking light would've just been as effective. I'll go to a dealership and see it in person.
Quick question? I've been riding for about 8 months now (13k miles deep) on a CBR500r and wanted to saddle up on this bike but I'm 5'7.5" tall and was wondering if this bike is too tall or if it can be lowered for someone as short as I? And if it would be stupid of me to get it so soon after only having a couple of months of riding experience?
Romario Ayala it was a pretty tall bike, but I don't think it would be too tall for you. The suspension was adjustable, so you may need to lower it a bit, but I'm just telling you that this bike is a pretty big jump from the cbr. The torque is pretty crazy
Currently on my first bike (Zephyr 550) but thinking of getting this as my next bike. I've been riding the Zeph as a pretty regular commuter for about 6 months so I'm not a veteran rider but have racked up a couple 1,000 miles. Is this thing gonna throw me in a ravine? haha Great review!
+Simon Brown Dude you could very well be thrown into a ravine lol. I would say this bike would be decent for someone with a year or more worth of riding experience. Thank you!!
+Randy Gentry To be honest man, the build quality of this particular bike felt on the level of triumph. It's a very nice bike, but I still prefer the looks of the speed triple over this, personally
