out of all the videos I watched you were the only one that made it clear and simple. one guy had his video on fast forward. I thank you for posting this
Thank you bro! By far the best video I found for an actual detailed walkthrough ✌️ and yeah if anyone is having trouble pulling the ends off it definitely feels like it doesn't want to come loose. Like more than any car I've owned but just pull straight out like he said. Pops right off and went back on nice and smooth
Thanks for posting this. I’ve had a after market grille for a year now and couldn’t find anything in how to remove the bumper. I was afraid if I started ripping on it I’d jack it up. Thanks for lookin out.
So you can easily get to the hood latch once the bumpers off right? 2018 Elantra SE hood just randomly wont open now. The pull handle inside the car still pulls the cable, and you can hear a noise under the hood when you pull the handle, but the hood just won't pop. And I need to know exactly what's going on before ordering either a latch assembly or cable. Thanks
Honestly I’m not sure, we didn’t have to mess with ours at this time. We could see it was right there behind the grill though. I wouldn’t order anything yet. Take your time and get the bumper off, do a visual and see what is going on. Sometimes you just need to adjust the locking mechanism. You might be able to reach up from the bottom and get to it. I think it’s only 3 bolts
I just a railroad track and busted my engine protector and looks like the clip on the side but loose from the bumper... I don't want to have to replace the whole bumber
@@chrisharris9195 on what website? because I’m trying to order but I want it to get here safely and secure . Not seeing any good reviews except for on car parts.com and eBay
@@cdoberman1984 I had a buddy paint it for me. Got the paint code and went to automotive paint center in oriellys and got the right paint. $300 later and it’s all blended in
@@chrisharris9195 Oh no 😂 Look I’m not trying to mock you but I’ve been doing Elantra’s for years ,, The headlights aren’t riveted to the bumper but the bumper headlight lip clicks into the lower headlight bracket ,, all you need is just keep the headlights bolted on but pull bumper hard ,, it will snap out
