It's a very easy process and we promise that anyone can do it.
TOOLS NEEDED: Philips screwdriver, wrench, or socket wrench with 10mm socket.
INSTRUCTIONS:
It's normally best to start from the bottom of the bumper and work your way up. This way the bumper won't fall on your unsuspecting face. It can happen. There are two plastic push pins but of the Philips screw variety. Just unscrew the center (:28), you may have to hold the exterior rim of the clip with your finger but instead of popping this out, you unscrew it. This particular customer was missing the under-car shield but there are normally two 10mm bolts at the center that attach the shield to the bumper.
Make your way to the fender liner on any side, we started with the driver side. Peel the fender liner away and there will be a 10mm screw that connects the fender and the bumper together. Remove this screw then do the same on the opposite side. Next, make your way to the plastic push pins on the engine cover or top of the bumper. The key is to wedge your flat-head underneath the button and pry it up or use a panel clip pliers. You're all done with what secures the bumper to the car, just pull the corners from the fenders gently to remove the bumper. Make sure you don't let the bumper fall if you have fog lights. This vehicle did not have any.
That is all! You did it, it's easy. If you need to install the bumper just work your way backward from the removal or check out the video below or at the end of this video. It's a 3 part series, removal, bumper accessories, and finally, the bumper install. Thanks for watching!
