I love the sound man! Do u have an aftermarket downpipe? I am worried that with a downpipe it will make it so loud that will not be as good as yours sound
Honestly just grabbed the S type muffler and will have a shop rig it up, and delete the resonator. Should be nearly identical in theory. Sounds killer for a 4 cyl
@@DarinDzy im gonna have them chop the resonator and pipe it all the way to the muffler. Should be pretty similar, i think ill be happy with it either way. Your car sounds great!
Best exhaust I've ever heard on an Audi was on my 2003 Audi TT with 2 magnaflow reversed glasspacks. Really deep sound and since they are glasspacks, its almost like a straight pipe (no restriction)
I love it. Did you have the stock resonator on with this borla catback? If not, did you replace an aftermarket resonator or just put a straight pipe on it?
I have 2019 A3 2.0 quattro. My car is with GPF filter. I can’t find any exhaust for my car. And your sound like there is a down pipe on? Or do you just have the muffler ?

@@DarinDzy Any issues with cops? I know most states have a 95 decibel exhaust mod law. Cant tell how truly loud this is or if it would catch an asshole cop's attention.
When you get the dsg fart it’s pretty loud but other than that you should be fine. I’m in a super strict state and city and have had no issues. I used to have a straight piped v8 mustang with no issues
I have a 2020 Audi A3 8v and I jus purchase this exhaust and not anytime does it make dsg farts like that. Is this because you have a tune and a intake because I swear it doesn’t make any noise like that when it shifts and has the same transmission and catback exhaust ?
This kinda worries me, i have a 2020 audi a3 as well and i was planning to buy this exact exhaust for also the dsg pops, do you have any clips of it yet? maybe taking out the resonator like this guy did in the video could make the dsg noise.
Volkswagen GTI2019 idk if it’s because we have a different tune but mine does not make pops like this at all instead it sounds like a Honda Civic shifting and it’s really depressing so
I just got mine shipped. I have a 17 A3 Quattro. Is the exhaust literally plug and play? Did you have to order any adapters or weld anything? I got the Borla S Cat Back.

Do you have a downpipe on it? Or just the exhaust? I installed a ECS high flowing catted down pipe on my A3 this past weekend. Now just wanting for my S type to come 😁

@@DarinDzy thanks for the reply! not sure why google told me the 2017 had the 7. sounds so good though. I have the 7.5 GTI with 7-speed and I’m just trying to see if anyone has been able to get DSG pops on upshift like the 6-speed had through tuning/exhaust. not much luck though lol
Hey, I’m considering getting an A3 2015 around 75k miles. Has yours held up well? I’ve researched and saw some concerning things with the oil consumption and transmission. (Open to anyone with an A3 to answer)
