I’m goin to buy this exact car next Sunday and I’m very excited it’s black with red interior I watched ur video probably about 100 times this week very very great video I learned a lot thank you
@@monkeylove178 I actually ended up getting the 335i same color just has a different motor the 3.0L I6 twin turbo and man it’s fun to drive the car sounds waaaay better in person
@Thanos awesome man thanks for the feed back and I'm on the same boat you were a year ago 😅 trying to snag this same car and aye good to hear you got a car you like 👍🏽
I bought 2013 328i for 19k with 30k miles. Several sensor lighting issues but the drive is omg. Never owned anything this fun to drive. So much power and terrific handling.
It's all in your mind, dawg. It's called the Placebo Effect (same term used for drugs). BMW and other German luxury brands rely on the simple-minded masses just like you to market their brands to, in order to reap huge profits. I worked at a local BMW dealership before and we learned that these luxury brand con artists spend about $8,000 USD to make a typical 3-series and then turn around and price it at 45K usd (in 2020 real price std). Meanwhile, except for the acceleration, there is absolutely NO difference in ride quality compared to a typical 4-cyl Camry LE. I worked at BMW dealership and owned Camrys before and you can take my words to the bank !! Additionally, the 3-Series X-Drive is absolute hyped-up BS when it comes to driving in icy and snowy roads while the same Camry LE handles such conditions a million times better !!!
@@weilunkang if bmw cost 8000 to make then the cars you would be buying like Mazda/toyota cost 3000 to make. You can't denie that bmw does something other cars lack
Well equipped, low mileage, certified pre-owned 2014-2015 328is are selling in the $24k-25k range. Just helped my son-in-law find one. I recently bought a 2014 MB e350, 16k miles, for a little more than half the original sticker price. I also drive a 2006 BMW Z4 3.0 I bought the same way: used, in exceptional condition. Unless you have money to burn, I can't see buying a new German car.
Don't blame you SnorkFlirt although the price and added warranty can be attractive on a used BMW but problems on those earlier N20's are starting to manifest themselves. Your 2017 should have most of the bugs worked out.
$48,000 for a 3 series, and a 4 cylinder to boot, oh hell no. >.> This damn car shouldn't be more than ~$40k tops. The German brands are seriously overpriced these days.
Hi, i'm from belgium. Can you please explain to me why you guys always want a big V6 or something like that. We are used to 4 cilinder turbo diesel engines here that are sometimes faster en have more torque than a v6 atmospheric petrol. For example my Ford Mondeo(fusion) has 280 lb.ft of torque, so even a bit more than this BMW
Yoshiaki K. Trust me get a 4 instead of a 6 cylinder you will appreciate the reliability as far as power there isn't a tremendous difference between bmws 4 cylinders and 6 cylinders
Yoshiaki K. Yea I drove the 2017 320i x drive it's not worth it, get an older model 2014 2013 3 series..I don't see the obsession with the new idrive I drove most of the 2017 models the new idrive system isn't something you must upgrade to I feel satisfied with my 2013 f10 5 series
I love your videos, could you do a 320i video I haven't found a full walk-around and review on one of them. I really like the Black on Black 3 series' 🙃
I think it's sad that most mainstream vehicles that are much cheaper have all that safety tech as standard, and luxury cars have it as an overpriced option
I just bought the same car and I was dissapointed it didn't have blind spot detection.....and I wish the headrests weren't so high. it's harder to see out the back than my old 2002 BMW. a trend of all new cars I hate
180 HP may not sound like much, but I bet across 8 speeds it would be enough for pretty good 0 to 60 times. Still, more power would be better at this price point. Cameron I wonder if you could place a plastic or cloth cover of some kind over the windshield when you do a car review where the car is facing the sun. Don't know how much control you have over which way the car is facing when you review it. If the interior of the car is anything other than Oppressive Black then it's not a big deal, but with a black interior the black levels of the camera often aren't low enough for me to get a great view of the interior. But if you had a way to block the sun, it might help with the black levels when the car is facing the sun. I dunno just thinking out loud here. Also are these reviews in 4K? I ask because the quality of your reviews definitely warrants 4K at this point! 😊
It's 248.... For the B46, BMW shrunk the bore but increased the stroke and, combined with some other internal engine improvements, achieved an output of 248 horsepower and 258 lb-ft of torque.......either way, it's not 180 like stated in the video.
Thanks John W for the update. Unfortunately the 330i/F30 B48 engine is the same inferior N20 platform of previous 328i series. Plastic water pumps, plastic timing chain guides, plastic valve covers etc. All known hi failure items. Way overpriced.
330i exposed as a overpriced fraud. 40K for a bare bones base car that doesn't even come standard with a back up camera or a host of other features that should be standard at this price. 40K base for fake leather seats? Boycott the 330i and spend your money on something else.
