They bury it in the menus as sort of a safety thing on the street but you only have to navigate there once so at the track it's actually a very quick process.
The new SS/ZL run their quickest times, (yes it's quick, because the word "fast" is speed), in manual mode with the automatic. Launch control is no good.
This video was about line lock and not launch control. Lot's of variables around launch control and what's best to use on a "ZL1", but with perfect conditions/traction turning everything off (almost everything) by holding the traction control button down for 7 sec is the best way. Manual mode still leaves a lot of torque management on the table.
