Alison did not play well. But I had to make a comment about this young lady Amber Chen playing her. Simply amazing focus and execution were demonstrated. She was not intimidated and threw it right back at Alison a couple of times and held her own. She made a couple of mistakes, but it didn't let it phase her. Alison was clearly frustrated. Well done young lady! Your future is bright Amber! Alison, you are still the best!
Am I missing something? 22:15 the one ball clearly made in side pocket on legal break- no foul. Why did Chen concede the table??? Does anyone have any clue? I find it hard to believe an oversight, especially since the one ball is the ball of interest following the break. ODD
Miamiwax, this is the second time I read something to the effect "There's always an Asian better you" at the comment section. Do you truly believe it, or are you saying it because it sounded cute along with the "Roses are red, Violets are blue?" I am just curious. :)
Good game by Amber CHEN! It looked like Allison Fishers game was off...happens to the best. Would like to see a rematch between the two again. As far as Miamiwax childish poem...yawn
Emmanuel Cequena, I think great many Chinese, Japanese and Koreans are known to have Patience. It's one of their trails. Some would even argue to say patience is in their DNA.
Well that's a leap. But even if it's true, it's probably by choice. Had I had that choice, I would have done it. It's such a great game and being a master is highly enticing... worth giving up a few things.
I miss the Jeanette Lee and Allison Fischer matches. But Jeannette is fighting her strongest opponent yet and that’s cancer. I wish her a speedy recovery and hope she can return to pool one day.
why in the min 20:13 when Amber opens, after she pocket the nº1 ball (yellow ball), the game pass to Allison?????? Amber should have to continue playing (or not) ??? can someone please respond me, thanks. // porque? en el minuto 20:13 cuando Amber abre el juego y emboca la bola 1, ella no sigue jugando y el juego pasa a Allison?? alguien me responde por favor, gracias.
Looks like the 3-point break rule is in effect and it was an illegal break. It eliminates soft breaking and is enforced in most professional events for the last few years now. A minimum of 3 object balls must come back and pass the head string for it to be a legal break. Any balls that are made...qualify also. So if she makes one ball on the break...2 balls must come back past the head string. If she sinks 2 balls...at least one object ball must come back past the head string...etc... She only made the 1 ball on the break and only the 5 ball passed the head string. The 7 ball almost did, but fell an inch or two short. If this is the case (which it usually is in most professional tournaments... especially in Europe and Asia)... this would explain it as it was an illegal break. It is not ball in hand, but it is loss of turn. Allison must play it as it lies.
Not sure, it looked like Allison never made one ball on the break. She also couldn't catch many breaks on getting shape. She also looks tired from jet lag. May have been many factors, but she sure was off her game.
Why the HELL did 405 people not like about this match? These ladies played well under pressure. I'd bet 400 of the thumbs down people couldn't hold a pool stick!
Unbelievable. These to over think each fricken shot. Then miss over half of them..like they wonder what there next shots ending going to be..good lord..can't watch this chit..its depressing to watch.. christ Eren would've played 4 games to their 1..
Excuse me Allison you are mind screwed and are playing the way your opponent is playing.Shake that play sit back wait for her to miss then takeover with your strategy and stroking of playing,Do not follow her system
The Taiwanese should learn from the Europeans n Americans. 5he camera is stationary. As such like 8n the 14th rack, the referee was standing in front of the camera, so couldn't see the shot by Chen. Camera should be mobile.
they are just average players. alot of defensive shooting. very easy fundemental shots being missed. i been playing poool for 10 years but the last 5 very seriously . girls in the philipeens would give them a run for their money any day
Hard to believe these women are considered professionals. This was drunk amateur hour. Only one rack was broke and ran out. They had some stupid rules as well.
They're most likely using the 3-point break rule and it was an illegal break. It eliminates soft breaking. A minimum of 3 object balls must come back and pass the head string for it to be legal. 5:33 - She may be small and cute but she's got paws on her. She pulled 3 balls out of the corner pocket with one hand! 20:14 - How is it that of the three of them, Nobody saw or heard the one ball drop into the side pocket? Ans: They did. Must be a 3-ball rule in effect on the break. Three balls have to make it into the kitchen for the break to be legal or since a pocketed ball counts as one in the kitchen, she would have had to have put two across the balk line. Only one made it, so play goes to Allison. This girl is dangerous. She got up and put a 3-pack on Allison right from the get-go. I think she rattled Allison a little because she didn't get into the game until rack 4. This game is a year old. How come I've never heard of her until this vid?|

we all caught it, except ruling here is: even if a ball was made on the break, an X amount of other object balls must pass the center line(I'm guessing the requirement here is 3/object balls
2.3 Legal Break Shot The following rules apply to the break shot: (a) the cue ball begins in hand behind the head string; (b) if no ball is pocketed, at least four object balls must be driven to one or more rails, or the shot is a foul (c) additionally, and only when Three Point Break Rule is used, if no ball is pocketed, three balls must cross the head string, or the break is considered ‘dry break’. (See Regulation 18, Three Point Break Rule.)
Stupid rule... and in this case... not only two balls passed center line... the 1 ball was pocketed in the side pocket which means a third ball did pass the center line.
That referee is unprofessional because he presses the players with that watch if his work is the time to take him in private, is not attentive, is very close, stinks to onion and no one knows he has bathed. Luck for everyone of this f. world
I'm in England and we play pool quite differently.. This is enthralling! I don't know the players but it seems to me the younger girl slightly better player
