2017 chevy malibu lt passenger side lower control arm tutorial (step by step in description below) 

step 1.Wheel chalks
step 2. jack up each side and lower on proper jackstands
step 3.remove wheel with 19mm socket and put tire under car for safety
step 4. remove 2 fastener screws to get plastic shield out of way.
step 5. take off the 2 nuts and bolts on left side which are 18mm then take off the other 2 on the right side
step 6. remove balljoint lock nut(if it spins get u a Allen wrench to hold it in place)
step 7. push down on control arm to remove out of nuckle then remove control arm.
step.8 verify that the old and new control arm match. (then put new one on)
