Beautiful trucks!! Loved driving my 379, when I had it. Best truck I’ve drove to date. I was a company driver & I drove many but nothing like the “Long Nose”
You know what that is? A down pipe. It’s not just for looks, that pipe has a vacuum actuated valve that opens up on command Incase he’s got such a heavy load and/or a low speed situation that he needs to dump the heat and gas as fast as possible to keep his egts down. Maybe it doesn’t look cool to you but these trucks are for more than looks bud.👌
Reminds me of C.W mccall’s convoy song.. ‘Cause we got a great big convoy Rockin’ through the night Come on and join our convoy Ain’t she a beautiful sight? Come on and join our convoy.. Ain’t nothin’ gonna get in our way.. We’re going to roll this truckin’ convoy ‘cross the USA Convoy! Convoy! Somebody please put that song over this
These are insane trucks we get very few peterbuilts here in Australia and by the look of it it’s because they won’t comply with our length requirements in saying that in Australia we run the world’s longest road trains sometimes with up to 5 standard 40 foot trailers this is not the type of truck that would survive crossing our nullabore plain however America s kenworth does very well here we build kw right here in Australia 🇦🇺 and our factory in Melbourne turns out approx a truck a week which the us factor does in like and hour but our kw s are special built for our harsh conditions and road train activities up to 190,000 kg gmv
Посмотрел все коменты.Никого из СССР!!! Правильно! Зачем расстраиваться!!!??? Это не выставочные машины а реально рабочие траки!!! Перемотаю и посмотрю ещё раз как Америка " загнивает"!!!
I've owned about 4 KWs and about 15 Petes, and hands down Peterbilt is the FINEST TRUCK YOU CAN GET! No detail escapes the engineers drawing board...everything is done with a purpose. KW may say they hold the highest resale price in the industry, but that just ain't true. It's a PB that will keep and hold it's value 5, 10, 20, 30 years down the road when it goes up for sale. Both great trucks, but Peterbilt is THE greatest of all!
Me and my step dad are trying to start a oilfield pump truck company idk witch truck to pick out of a 329 359 379 peterbuilt plz let me know what kind of truck you think would be good
