I don't ever think I've ever seen Jacub so happy. He was like a giddy kid at Christmas with the Raptor. It was infectious... I found myself excited and routing out loud for ya. What's funny is the 3.5L has higher power and torque at much lower RPMs than the 6.2 V8 did. There's a tiny bit of turbo lag, but throttle response is still much faster than the old truck. You might feel a little deadness with the EB, but after a very minimal delay the engine takes off much much quicker. Also, part of the reason for the inclusion of the offroad modes is that throttle response, shift points, and traction control are also all adjusted with each mode. Sport and Baja modes, for example, keep the turbos spooled and engine RPM around 3k so you have power constantly on demand, and Baja in particular lets you really fling the truck around without the nannies interfering.

Good job on the videos, but I learned you can use Baja mode on the streets. It’s actually better then Sport mode. Go into Baja mode when NOT accelerating, wait for truck info confirmation then manually switch to 2h and now the turbos are spoiled up at all tines(ready to go mode) lol. And the traction control also is disengaged and it’s a fu$king monster that way on the streets.

Look I have a 2017 Ford F150 it, has a 3.5 v6 great gas mileage. But my truck has been programed also has sport mode runs great. Fast I've out ran v8's in my truck. But I can't get used to the raptor having a V6.

if you want your mind blown for an off road car, LADA NIVA it's a little Russian hatchback (mk1 golf sized) that can wade through more water than a raptor, can drive up a 60 degree incline and has the same suspension travel as a raptor and has over 15 degrees more off road geometry
