Surprised this hasn't more views. Simple and predictable but I really enjoyed it, so much so that I watched it twice ... There's something very compelling about Leah (Lauren Ambrose). And Jake (Adam Kaufman) has something about him of a young Mel Gibson blended with Ryan Eggold..
Many years ago I met lovely Jewish Lady who was married to her brother in law due to the same old tradition. He was living in USA, and she came from Poland to marry him. Her granddaughter and I were working for the same Company at the time. The entire family was just wonderful.
I love it too! ❤ it's one if my comfort movies, movies I rewatch when I don't know what to watch, and wanna watch something I know I love, and will enjoy, and it will leave me feeling good afterwards. ❤
This is the best movie l have seen for a long time! I loved learning about the Jewish families and their faith. Loved every bit of it, and will watch it again.
I don't know how many times I have seen this movie ? I love it every time ! It seems to me , especially in this time , when the war in Gaza rages on , we should think of our commen humanity :A Jewish person does not feel any different than a Palestinian person . We all have the same feelings towards the people we love , after all , we are all human and are closer to each other than we think we are . Let's ignore all the politicians and vote for Love !
Yeah I wish people people esp the Israeli gov to consider the ceasefire agreement the innocent life's of the children in gaza and the women of gaza eps the mothers that left behind their children I saw a video yesterday of a child about month or a year old who's now all alone in this world over 35,000 are now de@d in gaza may they rest in peace
@AsToldBySha7 Hamas has rejected every ceasefire. And the war (which Hamas started) would end today if Hamas would release the remaining hostage, including those 2 brothers who are only 1 and 4 years old. There has been no news of them since they and their mother were kidnapped to Gaza .

Great film. Disappointingly the sound was lost in various parts and the ending cut short, only by a couple of minutes, but still missing a very important last scene.
There are various free versions on RU-vid but this is the most complete version. I would be happy to pay a few dollars to see the whole, original version.
