2017 Holden Commodore SS-V Redline - unboxing the last of the line 

My SS-V Redline is 4 tomorrow. One of the earliest VFII, white 6 M, currently 12,850km. Perfect condition. I have seem some of the Motorsport Editions (used) for sale in Sydney now, big bucks if you can afford it. Cheers 29/12/19.

So glad this car came to the States. Mine is a “Prussian Steel Grey” example (which they call “Mystic Green” over here for some inexplicable marketing reason). Correct transmission with three pedals as well. 😉 Ordered it late 2015, tracked it all the way from a file in a computer through build, shipment, transfers, and finally delivery to my dealership. Like this vid, dealer knew I wanted to see it in the plastic as it came off the truck, grease pencil markings and factory assembly stickers and all. That was a fantastic day! Had them keep everything and box it up with the export inspection sheet and the box with the US license plate frame. Traceability all the way back to the day she was born. Most importantly, have loved every minute and every mile covered. Mine is documented to no end and the paint is coddled in a full paint protection wrap, but this is no garage queen. Was bought to be driven, I will just take as good of care as possible while still driving it as it was made to be. Thanks for posting these vids. The earlier reviews (especially the sound takes) helped me live it vicariously while waiting for mine to make it across the Pacific. 👍 You’ve done a global public service!

Frankly if Holden dealers are not committed to the Commodore buyer we will just go have it serviced by other mechanics.
