Nice job with the video, Alin. Honda makes great bikes, not exactly fun, can be bulky sometimes, but they are good to carry Honda's name in terms of reliability and comfort. Maybe you can make a video about your camera setup :)
Thank you Sergey ✅ Much appreciated ✅ You know what ? I will do a video regarding my camera setup 🤣 Always wanted to do a video regarding this but there are so many on RU-vid already 🤣 Thank you again for dropping the comment ✅
I had a CBF1000F MK2 in red. They are known for handlebar shake, could be tyres, worn head bearings or not enough rear pre-load. The seats are height adjustable and the bars can be rotated ( punch marks in bars). The screen is height adjustable, but its manual adjust and can only be done when off the bike. Its the same mechanism as the new NT1100. Palmer products bracket solves wind buffeting. Get the revs up, they do like to be revved, and its good for 145 mph. They handle very very well, i could get mine leant right over onto the edge of the rear tyre. Absolutely loved mine, but its not in the same league as my Tiger 900 GT Pro in terms of comfort and tech. Was still a bloody good bike though.
Thank you for watching and dropping the comment ✅ Much appreciated ✅ Yes the engine sounds like is bulletproof but I haven’t experienced such shakes with all the bikes I’ve ridden , Triumphs are great bikes as well ✅ Will like to try one some day 😎 Also fancy the NT1100 🤔
@@jacek800xrt The 900 is lighter than the 800 by a lot, plus it has a bolt on rear subframe and passenger pegs. Coming from the 800 you will find the 900 has more vibrations due to the T-plane crank, it's not turbine smooth like the 800. I've moved to the Tiger 900 from a Scrambler 1200 XE, so the twin like vibrations don't bother me. I absolutely love my 900, and for me it's a keeper for the foreseeable future.
@@alinwithther6 Try the range if you can, but don't discount the 900 Bonneville's as they are great to ride too. I had the Scrambler 1200 XE before the Tiger, and the wife owns the Scrambler 900. The only advantage the 1200 had was the extra tech and better suspension. Speed wise there's not much between them. Triumph are making some great bikes, and I think they are offering better bikes than Honda these days.
This is the most negative video ive seen about the cbf1000. Most find it very easy and comfortable to ride with silky smooth gears and sufficient power to propel it to 145mph while normal riding gives good fuel economy. Prior to this i had a triumph explorer 1200 that had all the bells and whistles but was horrible at low speeds with a agricultural gear box. The more bikes have the more to go wrong. Im happy having a more basic bike, i dont need idiot lights to tell me what gear im in. Still each to thier own. 🙂
Thank you for taking your time to watch and drop the comment 👍 Much appreciated ✅ Unfortunately, I didn’t want to make a negative video, I’ve said it enough times this bike is very comfortable, however, i didn’t expect for a reputable garage to lent me this bike in the condition that was in. This was all about. Anyway, thank you again 👍
Hi Alin, i have a 2015 CBF1000gt, and experienced the wobble when letting go of bars, changed tyres and now its silky smooth. I'm vertically challenged being 5ft 7 with a 29 inch inseam. so found the seat height perfect on the lower position. as for the bars, i fitted bar risers that increased the height by an inch and a half and also brought them closer to me, i bought it for touring, and now its set up correctly for me, i couldn't be happier. keep up the great work.
Thank you John for watching and dropping the comment ✅ Much appreciated ✅ Is exactly what I was thinking is wrong with this, balance of the front wheel wasn’t done properly. The bike is built like a tank 👍 Keeps your eye on the channel as I have videos coming every weekend 😎
what a noob - hahaha That bike can be ridden to end of the suspension and then some - you ARE riding it like a granny. It has so much torque that you can leave it in 6th gear - go thro town and out the other side on the gas and she's smoothe n clean all the way. A real accomplishment by Honda. I "fast-toured" Scotland on one 2 years ago and it was amazing for what it was.
Thank you for watching and dropping the comment ✅ The video was related to this particular bike as it wasn’t in great shape , But appreciate your comment ✅ I’m a noob ? I may be , but before you criticise others you should look in the mirror 👍 Ride safe !
I had the tracer 900. It had the most horrendous wind buffeting I ever experienced. Nothing seemed to help. Absolutely ruined the bike for me. The cp3 engine is such a great engine, but I would rather have a bad case of diarrhea for weeks than ever having to spend another day on the tracer. Now I ride a gsx 1400 naked bike and couldn’t be happier.
Thank you for dropping the comment 👍 Much appreciated ✅ Yes that is true, the Tracer’s have this known issue with the buffeting, but there is always a solution 💡for me was to change the screen, ( yes I have tried a few …. ) and that cured this problem 👍
I don't know what you are talking about. Did you have a bad day or something? This is a great bike. Have a coffee and to again... Always have a coffee in the morning mate...
Thank you for watching Gregor ✅ Much appreciated ✅ Is a good bike but probably this one wasn’t very well looked after or the garage hasn’t inspected it as it was very unbalanced 🤔
Thank you my friend for watching and dropping the comment ✅ Much appreciated ✅ Yes the CBF 1000 has 1000cc is basically the famous Honda Fireblade detuned engine put on a commuter chassis, sort of 🤣
Not fair to compare a bike that was first built in 2006 to a 2022 tracer or r6 ,the mk2 you are riding was just an update of the original bike . My 2011 bike had the bar shake that was cured by fitting a new front tyre (i had balancing the wheel before replacing the tyre ) why on gods earth you would take both hands off the bars is beyond me. The cbf 1000 has to be the easiest 1000 cc bike to ride
Thank you John for watching and dropping the comment 👍 Honda makes great bikes, this bike has been lent to me by the insurance company while mine was getting fixed and unfortunately this CBF wasn’t been very well looked after and obviously is not my job to fix it . I’ve stated clearly is not fair to compare it with the tracer or the r6 but I’ve never experienced this shake before on any bikes 👍 Much appreciated ✅
That's when you pick used bike not in perfect condition... But anyway its probably not a fair comparison, this is quite old school bike, tourer, with roots in 2000s when there was no TC, QC or gear indicators and ABS was first to come
That’s true is not fair to compare it with my Tracer, however is a great engine as it comes from the old Fireblade only detuned ✅ Much appreciated for watching and dropping the comment ✅
Thank you Simon for watching and dropping the comment ✅ Much appreciated ✅ No I definitely won’t be buying one of those , didn’t like it at all, the worst bike I’ve experienced so far, but was most probably something wrong with it as it was so unbalanced is unbelievable 🤣 from what I’ve heard that has the engine from the Fireblade but detuned and they are bulletproof ✅
Oh NO 😎 My Tracer had been knocked down and is with the insurance company, this is a replacement for the time being but is going back as is something major wrong with it, Stay tuned for the Sunday video 👍
