Hello and welcome!
Today I will show you how to remove the door panel of your 2017 Hyundai Elantra to replace the side mirror switch (or anything behind that door panel actually).
This project doesn’t go quite as planned 😂 but it still has some valid information if you need to know how to do something similar on your vehicle.

I just bought it off eBay. I searched for my car and found a seller that had the switch.

I knew it was not the switch based on ONE fact how often are you touching that switch.? I have not needed to adjust my mirrors unless a valet changed the position. Its far more likely that a window switch would fail first since the raising and lowering of the window is a far more of an occurrence than adjusting your mirrors. The motors in the power mirror it self are the problem

Thank you, you may be right but I was hoping it was the switch which is much easier for me to fix. I don’t even know how to start changing the motor in my mirrors but that is probably the problem 😒

No, I think it might be over my head unfortunately. It is possibly the motor inside the mirrors and I haven’t had time to get into the weeds of that just yet. Thanks for watching and commenting!
