Just installed the same exhaust on my wife's 2019 Grand Cherokee Trailhawk 5.7L. Sounds great. She loves it. Only change I'm going to make is to remove the exhaust tips and trim about an 1"-1.5" off them so the slide further on. I don't like how far they stick out from the bumper. Think it will look a lot nicer if they are a bit more flush with bumper.
Funny because I'm about to do the same for my wife's 2019 Hemi Grand Cherokee. She currently has the resonator delete which freed up allot of untapped power. So you guys seem pretty happy with the upgrade? Was it the full kit? We are considering just buying the mufflers and having a local shop do a full x-pipe exhaust, as well as keeping the stock square tips.
@@mandofernandez5161 We have been really happy with it. It still sounds great. I ended up keeping the original tips as they kind of grew on me. I had thought about doing a custom exhaust but with the truck being brand new at the time and while my wife wanted more sound, the real question was how much, this was the way to go for us. She loves it and it turns heads regularly.
Thanks for putting this up. I've been trying to decide between corsa and borla. I think I'll be getting the corsa for my TH as well. Right now, I'm running the blastin' bobs resonator delete since I wanted a better sound on a budget but a full system is the ultimate goal.
Hey, I was behind you tonight at Chik-Fil-A in Garland, I was curious about what your license plate meant so I googled it and the first thing that popped up was a link to this video. Moral of the story, what does you license plate mean?
I have the exact same model, I'm still trying to make up my mind between this one and borla touring? After two years what would you advise and what pros and cons hav you gor for us.. Ist comfortable for driving on high ways and traveling or does it get noisy.? Thank you fpor posting this video
Mindis Jurenas you can get it on eBay just type tow hook hitch D ring receiver and I recommend you get the aluminum one because it it's light weight and won't rust
And this is the locking trailer hitch off Amazon. You'll just have to go to Home Depot to get some rubber plumbing grommets or something to close the gaps that go side to side. www.amazon.com/gp/product/B00VGL6TSO/ref=oh_aui_detailpage_o09_s00?ie=UTF8&psc=1
Thanks! Generally aftermarket exhaust isn't going to void a warranty. I can't think of a reason why unless for some odd reason it created a lot of backpressure and somehow damaged the engine.
It will I belive If it's catless/or remove the resonators..basically a straight pipe..it will scream, not something I would want on a offroad suv..now my wife's mustang on the other hand I like loud has a catless x pipe running all the way to the back but also have electronic exhaust cutouts when you want to wake the dead
Hey there, I recently purchased a 2018 5.7 trailhawk... my question is will the Corsa exhaust still fit my year? On their site it said something about it not fitting vehicles with factory equipped tow hooks? So I’m a bit confused.
I would say that it would, best to call them though. Kind of interesting, when I purchased mine, the website offered different sized tips. I see that they still offer the black tip configuration, but only the 4.5" tip is available. The part # is still the same as mine, which covers model years '11 - '18. They are most likely talking about the model years going through '14, which had a single rear tow hook that would not allow this exhaust to work. IMO, you should be good to go!
What are you getting for fuel economy? When you drive conservatively. The forums are saying it’s impossible to get more than ~18 mixed, the guy I’m looking at buying one from is saying 21.9mpg lifetime with the hemi..
Best I got was 11.8 L per 100 km, sorry , not American units haha, but that really good, highway drive is he best way to do it, in the city forget it :)
Strange question, but I’m considering this for my GC & haven’t seen anything that’s answered my question. When upshifting at high revs, does the exhaust crack/bang at all?
Will I need a tuner/ chip for adding a cat-back magnaflow exhaust and a k&N Cold air intake? I can’t find anywhere or any brand that has a set up for my 2019 Grand Cherokee TrailHawk...
mds is a joke and doesn't do a thing for gas milage. only thing it does is shudder at certain revs. i'm in the process of gathering parts to permanently disable. tired of manually over riding it. plus it's dumb to have when adding power mods like a cam and charger.
