@alwaysdriven i agree i had 6.4 charger i thought it was muffler deleted when i bought it cause shit was loud like shake your body loud when next to it. Muffler delete with dynomax was pretty good but still loud af.
This happened to me with my Mustang. I had a H pipe and muffler delete at first, pretty much straight. I start my car before 5 in the morning in a packed neighborhood and I never wanted to be "that neighbor". So I bought active X Force mufflers and I couldn't be happier. Valves closed, it's more quiet than a full stock exhaust. Vales open, 130+dB. Best of both worlds. That straight pipe was so mean though on this SRT. Mufflers did a good job setting his goal.
Dam u just described my exact situation rn on my 2015 mustang. H pipe , muffler delete. I go in to work anywhere between midnight and 3 am smh, that cold start is brutal. Neighbor put note on my windshield asking is there anything I can do bc im waking up her kids n shit. That exhaust u have now is very expensive right?.
I only put borla s types on my vehicles, but back in the day all i knew was Flowmaster. I could be wrong but the flowmaster flow fx's are the savior of that company and they sound awesome.
Personally what I would do is install electric exhaust cut-outs so I could have it quiet when I wanted it quiet, and when I want it nasty, just hit a button and let it be nasty.
Yeah I have a NAP valve controlled on mine. With closed valves you can still hear the V8 bubbling but not too loud so the neighbours don’t want to kill me in the morning. When it is open omfg like a beast unleashed :D
I have a single-inlet/dual-outlet FlowFX on my 5.7 Hemi Ram. I love the sound better than the MagnaFlow I had on it before. That 6.4 Jeep sounds awesome.
Sounds good straight piped my 14’ charger rt is catless with mid muff and res delete and honestly i love it except around 2k rpm accelerating drone sucks
ya i straight piped my 5.7 300S couple yrs ago, it was loud AF! hurt your ears.. so put bottle resonators on the back, bingo! prefect. this sounds good though, might try those Flow FX sometime ☮
I've heard the Flow FX sound better on other vehicles, but that straight pipe had to be annoying after a while, so he had to do something. I would've liked to have heard some Black Widow Widowmaker 10s on there, but on the take-off, it did sound pretty decent...!
Dude I love this channel and everything here but you have to stop editing like that when you’re underneath the car it fucks with my head for some reason love the vids happy late thanksgiving
Just me I guess, but why spend money on a nice performance V8 and then put mid level quality Chinese mufflers on it? I am just a not a fan of any Flowmaster muffler. I had them for a very short time on my 2004 Ram HEMI in 2005. I think lasted two weeks before I changed out. Looked at a 2013 Ram HEMI that the dealership had modified with a Flowmaster exhaust. They started it for me to test drive and I hated it from the get go just because of that. Bought another Ram because of the sound.
@@MikeJohnson-ej4oc and very clean for that kinda mileage. I’m sure it’s just me and what I hear when you combine a Flowmaster and a HEMI. But my opinion means nothing. It’s your ride. As long as you are happy, nothing else matters.
