Perfect example on how less is more. He didn't over do it with the physical gentures, in fact they were rare, and that worked in his favor. You could see the real acting, the emotion while he sings. That's what a real preformance is.
Young actors should take note of how he doesn't flail his arms about during the performance. It makes you focus on his face and what his great acting. Great job.
WOW. This kid's Great. Not only is his control great, but his Acting during this performance was great too. We'll Definitely be seeing more of him professionally in the future =D
I found this performance my freshman year and it's still my favorite performance next to Andrew Feldman's cause they both impress me so much, their talent is insane
What you liked so much better was his range. Antonio definitely has a higher belt, but Tony has better technique and control of his voice. When Antonio belts he has a very high palate, but when Tony does, it doesn’t seem to move anywhere. His vibrato is also much more even and at the desired 6 oscillations per second. It isn’t always about how high you can sing, it’s about your control, sound, diction, and characterization. Please know that this is not me saying he’s a bad singer because thats the furthest from the truth. Antonio was absolutely amazing and definitely deserved to be in the finals. But Tony deserved the win.
