The vocalist doesn't 'seem to know how to conduct himself in a jugalbandhi!!!

You must be really stupid and a person with no knowledge of carnatic music. This is unnikrishnans concert, hes the main focus of the concert, not rajeshs concert. Rajesh is an accompanying artist, not the centre of attention. In addition, Unni sir is a legend who has won multiple awards as a carnatic musician and more popular than Rajesh. So think twice before you want to criticize the legend, Unnikrishnan.

Sitarama A you couldnt be more incorrect than the comment you made. Jesus christ! Unnikrishnan is a legend in Carnatic music. If youre willing to criticize the legend, why wont you sing and post a video?

He does not seem to know the principle of Jugalbandhi. He wanted to show off and dominate the concert which is unethical. You should always respect the co-artist and allow equal opportunity.

Jaqn Jse This concert was clearly advertised as Jugalbandi and Rajesh ji is no accompaniment. He is more than capable of holding his own. At best Unnikrishnan was mediocre and this is far from it.

Everyone need not be as erudite as you are. To someone else, or many others, you might not be as knowledgeable as you consider to be.

Sitarama A im not showing any ignorance. He showed his respect and compliments towards with Rajesh with his gestures and statements such as "bale". And Im sure Rajesh acknowledges that, especially from a senior carnatic legend. So you need to stop making assumptions and creating a drama scene here.

I agree with jaqn jse. Unni does not treat Rajesh as an accompanist. he doesn't look to dominate. he shows his respect towards​ Rajesh as jaqn mentioned

Ekambaram Balaguru exactly Ekambaram! These people criticizing are here to create a drama. Unni's been in this industry and is one of the leading carnatic vocalists in the world. Im sure he learned the aspect of treating people equally without dominating.

In case you dont know, let me remimd you who this legend is; 1.Kalaimamani title from the Government of Tamil Nadu 2. Yuvakala Bharati from Bharat Kalachar 3. "A" grade artist of the All India Radio Hes not mimicking Balamuralikrishna sir in any way as he is rendering his own renditiom nor does he have any intention to do so. Hes listed as one of the most prominent carnatic musicians in todays world. So next time you criticize, think twice before who you're attempting to insult.
