On the famous circuit de Spa-Francorchamps in Belgium, I have filmed the all new 2017 Lamborghini Aventador S LP740-4 going flatout. The green color, which is called Verde Ithaca, stands gorgeous on the new Aventador. Under the hood you will find the new iconic V12 engine, producing a whopping 740HP!

hendricogrobler Lol, those crackles are fake because they shoot gas in the exhaust for extra drama. I dont like it that much like the Huracan also

James Blond no dude. Crackles are made when unburnt fuel in the cylinders is spat out onto the hot exhaust manifold where it then explodes. It is artificial though, with modern engine management ECUs, there is no misfiring of fuel nozzles which would lead to unburt fuel in the cylinders. Old cars without perfectly timed engine cycles crackle on the overrun because the firing of fuel nozzles and cylinders was imprecise, thus resulting in the aforementioned.

chillout1109 The pops and bangs are real, they inject fuel in the exhaust pipe and them it happens a little combustion that cause the "Pok" sound, when the exhaust it's really hot it actually shoot some gigantic blue flames

ItsiDutchyyTM it is not. Its just Corsa mode. Old Aventador in Corsa mode shifts this fast too.

Cícero130i Still unknown actually. But the S has 740hp and the SV 750hp. But the S has 4 wheel steering. However, the SV weights 75kg lighter than the S... I think that we will have to wait until someone tests these 2 cars against each other :)

The pops and crackles are a stupid gimmick. They're a low-class "look at me" thing for people who somehow need even more attention than driving an exotic car will naturally get for them. It bothers me that a few people liking them has led to nearly all exotic car manufacturers programming that garbage in as if everybody likes it when not everyone does.
