Dated design doesn't mean poor quality. Even though the Lexus competitors may have more "modern" interiors, they aren't better. He could do a better job of explaining that.

I have a 2014 LS 460 and I love it! Only 82,230 miles on it. It is most definitely a road car and I can drive over 530 miles on a tank of gas.

He's saying its pretty smooth and quiet. If Lexus has done anything right, it is the quiet and smoothness. This car is the most silent car I've ever exhibited.

I have never heard soo many negative comments about this model! I believe this reviewer who seems to be hard for Mercedes, does not care for Lexus! This is one of the highest rated cars around, back in 2017.. still is a sought after used model. I was at the local U-Pull It used auto parts junkyard and was shocked at how many S-Class Mercedes were there! I mean newer models, under 10 years old!! I only found 2 Lexus LS400 models and both had severe front end damage. The Mercedes while a few were wrecked, most were not wrecked! I judge a car's reliability by how many models I see in the junkyard and I will say the models that were plentiful there were Mercedes, Dodge Neon, BMW 7 series, Ford Windstar vans, Nissan Altima, It was just amazing how all the BMW were the 7 series!! The flagship model was the worst one!! The Mercedes was the S-Class but not the older models.. Not a single 300 diesel or any Mercedes diesel there.. very few Subaru and Toyota Camry models..Anyway, You are a rarity to be this critical of the Lexus but you are entitled to your OPINION on this car but luckily it is just that, an opinion and not the actual facts about this reliable Lexus! I still enjoy your videos!! haha Just disagree!!! You have every right to be hard for Mercedes!! Cheers!

I really don't know why Toyota hasn't redesigned this car in so long. I just hope the new one will be something amazing and they won't abandon the flagship like Infiniti and Acura did.

I drive LS, the best I've driven, very happy with it.

the LS does feel a bit dated compared to the CT6 and 7 series, but its still a compelling option with best in class reliability.

I have a 2006 and my mom has a 2013 from a 1999... theyre not as flashy as a Merc, BMW or Audi but still very subtly luxurious. I think they're redesigning them for 2018. Mine has almost 100k on it and 3 owners...ive only put it in the shop once. her 1999 and my 2006 had/has most of the luxury features cars do today, ijs

I agree the design needs a bit of work on the interior especially with the screens like its competitors but u should realise that this has been around since 07 just refreshed from time to time. There's a new design and next generation for the Ls coming next year. Wait till that drops and u'll see levels of tech with the usual comfort and luxury that's excellent. This car seats are more comfortable than the other cars in its class, I have been in all except the audi and Lexus just know how to make comfortable luxury cars that's reliable like no other. Even the materials in this is just superb, I think we should all wait till the next generation coming out next year and then discuss the TFT screens again and design of the interior. I still prefer the design of this Interior to what is available on the audi though. The S class and 7 series have better designed interior I.e. more modern cause they are all new generations.

The design is great and dated 2017, the last of its kind. Its not long in the tooth whatever that means to him.

I'm sorry, and I know I'm alone in this.....but I hate the new grill!!!! What part of that grill says luxury??? To be funny, I was emailed a very old Toyota in amazing shape and It had hardly a grill. Just this tiny few inches wide area across the front with a small Toyota badge. Oh, thanks Cameron for the wonderful review. You were not born when the first Lexus hit the US.1990....and most wouldn't have noticed because it looked like a Corolla/Camry (back in the day). There is such a thing as "old class" luxury. Lexus always had that without screaming I'm rich with a Mercedes.

Lexus needs to drop that stupid wood steering wheel. That was hot stuff in the early to mid 90s, now it looks outdated. This vehicle needs a lot of aesthetic work inside and out to catch it up to its competition.

Not buying for the fact at that price they should of had auto start since 2010...NO Auto Start wtf...first world problems but thats too damn much money not to have that feature....
