i removed the ecu and soldered a chip. then I reprogrammed the ecu with a map that is widely used in this citroen and peugeot engines with the same specs. I feel much more power and reduced consumption.
on the fuel consumption gauge where you have white and green bars what are they for? I start my ASX and the white bar is completely full.what does that mean? 1.6 diesel
The engine sounds nice enough. Hey guys, did you all know that if this was driven normally it would have enough power ? No point trying to drive a low powered car fast, its not designed for that. It will get up to speed limits and keep up with everything, so whats the problem ? A low powered car will still do 30mph, and it will even do 70mph. Hey, perhaps you need to get up to 30mph really quickly ! Yeah, I need to reach 60mph in 5 seconds, not 11 seconds or I will be really really late. How fucking stupid is that ? A lot of drivers today have no idea whatsoever, and impatience causes the majority of traffic accidents. Learn to drive everyone yeah.
I've managed 5,9L when driving in a range of 45-65 mp/h, of course tempomat and coasting used. Otherwise about 7 L/100km is easy, when not driving it like there's no tomorrow.
