Just watched the AMG factory video. The young technician at AMG single handedly made an engine, like making a product. But these Japanese are like masters creating an artwork .

They actually care for these engines like it’s their own kids.

Honestly, I feel proud to own one of these machines. I treat it like it's my baby. Watching this makes me feel a whole lot better with how good the engine is. These men take great pride on their work and make sure the engine is perfect.

When you buy a GTR, a video should be in the package so you get to see who made your car from start to finish.

I am a big American vehicle fan and own several, however the care and craftsmanship that these engine builders show is amazing. There is no wonder these GTR engines are such wonderful running machines! Hats off to these men as they truly care about there craft and legacy!

Very relaxing, especially when they were putting the cam caps and bolts on, oiling the bearings/journals, and installing the timing chain. Had to turn it up when they were gauging the lobe/lifter clearance.

Meanwhile, in a nearby toy store... CVTs are being assembled. 🤣

One comment needs to be made, compared to other super-cars, the Nissan GTR, for all its amazing design and engineering and the expert builders, is amazing value. You get an awful lot for your money.

The whole video is true masterpiece of ultra-precise craftsmanship & performance; what a beauty. My favourite part however was from 4:15 to 4:42....the engine & downpipe extreme-heat (from RPM) tests.....that's true "UNLEASH THE BEAST" scenario!

There is something utterly mesmerising about seeing quality craftmanship like this - superb !

Through the eyes of the techs I see thousands of not millions of built engines through his sight alone, the experience aura I felt from seeing the techs building this beast of an engine, says a lot.

every time japan build's, asembles, or tune an engine its always comes out as a master piece made with precision and skill thats why they are the best

I could watch a live feed of them building these marvelous engines, so peacfull, so relaxed.

this is a lucky day for me. I get to see the face of the man who built the VQ38 of my bro's car - he's all the way in Japan, 5000km away - and the engine he built is here on my driveway. I didn't expect that at all and it's like a 1 in a... probably gajillion chance this is happening .... excuse me. I need to go and buy a lottery ticket. If anyone here has ever lived in Japan, you know how seriously the Japanese take their work. I lived there when I was in the Air Force it did not matter if it was mowing the yard or baking bread. That is what I admired about them.

Robots can makes very good cars but only humans by hand built process are able to make perfection. That’s why engines like this are what they are. Thanks Japan to gave me a chance in only one life to fall in love with JDM culture.

I have so much respect for this.

I have been fortunate to drive a GTR on a race track twice. It doesn't cost that much to rent one, and I highly recommend it. After a few laps my instructor got comfortable with my driving and just began cheering me on each lap yelling over the wailing engine "she's got more to give" as we blasted down the straights and drifted through the corners.

This has a tense feeling like the time when a doctor is performing an operation importantly.

It's a real shame that many hard-core American muscle lovers just don't see the incredible craftsmanship that goes into these vehicles.

Still arguably the best engine ever built. People loved the rb20 and 2jz but this V6 is a different animal

i HATE nissans, but even I can’t deny that this is something truly special. There’s a certain bond between the builder and the vehicle thanks to stuff like this. Really cool.

Supreme build quality exemplified by nothing less than hard work and dedication. The Germans are almost exactly as meticulous as the Japanese with their vehicles. Too bad American manufactures aren’t exactly on par with build quality, discipline, and strive for perfectionism as we’ve just seen here by Nissan’s techs. When I bought my first Subaru, I didn’t need to test drive it because I knew I’d buy it when the sticker said “100% Made in Japan” it was going to be built by men and women with similar work ethics as we’ve just seen from this video. Well done Nissan! (For the record we have a QX50 in the garage haha still prefer the Subaru though). Update: and to be fair let’s not forget the French with their Peugeot or the British with the Aston Martin. Some countries put their heart and soul in their work with vehicles. It really shows in some models.

Just to put his name on it, he has to put his heart and soul into it.
