The soundlinks sound nothing like the soundtrue 2 tbh. The soundlink have a bigger sound spectrum with better treble. Ive got the soundtrue 2 about a year ago and they were horrible. The soundlinks are so much better IMO.
We'll have to agree to disagree on that. I dont have access to the specs on any of Bose gear, so it's kinda hard to get around without a point of reference. IMHO, the only difference between the two after having used both for more than 6 months is: One requires a wire and one does not. The wireless one is a bit heavier due to the battery and any other stuff needed to make it all work, while the other is basically just headshphones. Wireless phones are more expensive than the other. Now, maybe, there is some extra stuff that is going on with the wireless cans that has an effect on the audio. But again, having had a chance to use both over the course of more than 6 months, I'm not sure I can tell a noticeable difference in the Soundstaging for either one. Just to make it all fair, I did a blind where both were wired, without any power going to the Soundlink. I tried them with my adnroid, I tried them with my computer watching movies, and I tried them with my mix tapes. Again, there may be something extra going on when the Soundlinks are self powered, but whether they were or not, I could not really tell the difference..
Hey Josha! Actually, the Q35 has active noise suppression, which the Soundlink does not have, so there will be that difference in cost. As to whether or not it is worth the extra cost, I cant really say.
Hello , I am going to buy a bose headphones mainly for the bus , do you recommend to buy qc35 or the soundlink over ear will do the job (as they block some noise as they are over ear)?? Btw I tried the qc35 and turned nc on at bose store and I felt the pressure inside my ears as if they will pop and nausea for 5 mins after I took them off but the sales man told me that some people who bought it said like me but they got used to it after one week . I want your advise :)
I tried one of my friend's pair of the QC35, and there definitely is a difference in ambient noise cancellation. However, just like you, I felt some discomfort after about 10 mins of use. One thing I did not have a chance to check was whether or not the "NC" works when talking to someone on the phone. Looks like I'll have to borrow them again.
Victor Logan Jr I read many articles about people experiencing the pressure on eardrums and nusea after taking it off and many owners said that thsi feeling will go after one week . Should I listen to them and take the risk and buy it ?
@@hooleesheet9182 Honestly, I can't give you an answer to that one. I can only tell you my experience. When I started trying out a bunch of the bluetooth headphones, I discovered that I was sensitive battery heat that was generated from heavy use. It was so uncomfortable that I just opted to go with some Bose headsphones; the black ones in the upper video. Fast forward to today, and I now have both pairs in regular use. I still get the heat in my ears on occasion, but not nearly as bad as when I first started out. I don't know if that's because my ears got used to the heat, or maybe I don't play my music as l used to. All I can tell you is that re-buying the bluetooth cans were well worth it for me. I know some may balk at this, but I suggest you buy a pair of the QC35, and tough it out for a few days. And if they don't suit you, send them back, and try the "regular" Soundlink IIs'
