To learn more about the Plateau TS please visit: pleasureway.com...
The twin sofa floor plan provides for a large bathroom with vanity, six cubic foot fridge and full size wardrobe while still leaving the bank of passenger side windows clear and unobstructed. In the tour, we highlight our multiplex wiring system and take you into the Pleasure-Way electrical department for an in-depth look at how the system is installed!
*Due to our policy of continuous improvement, Pleasure-Way reserves the right to make product changes at any time without incurring obligations. Van Chassis standard options may also change without incurring any obligation.

Presentation is great and professionally done and not so many found in youtube. The design is modern. The cabinetry can be more lighter and modern. I worked in a multinational company as an electrical engineer in plant construction and found that German and Japanese electrical hardwares are the best and some industrial ones I saw will last forever if you don't break it manually. some of the USA made is great, but now a days many are produced in China with inferior materials. some of the hardwares are german made in this CV.

This is a gorgeous coach. I think I'd prefer to remove the sink/vanity in the bathroom for a much larger shower space. Or go with a flip up sink. Pleasure Way products seem to be very well made, with an attention to detail that transcends a beautiful space. Well built and so beautiful!

13:14 I'd recommend using a wiring track for the rear TV instead of black wireloom and exposed clips.

aguyandhiscomputer yes very poor design, or better put them in the wall.

Not to criticize, but... 6:04 “If the green light is on, it means the circuit is open and functioning...” I understand the confusion - a retail store that is operating is said to be “open for business”, and you open a valve to let water flow. And “closed” means the opposite. But in electrical circuits, it’s different. A circuit is essentially a closed loop around which electrons flow. Electrons flow from the “hot” or “high pressure” output of a generator or battery, then pass though the load (releasing their energy), then return to the “low pressure” side of the power source. Much like blood through our circulatory system or refrigerant through a refrigerator. If the loop is cut (i.e., it’s “open”), then the electrons cannot flow. So a functioning circuit has to be _closed_ circuit. An open circuit is one in which current _doesn’t_ (can’t) flow. So, to summarize: *Closed circuit* = current flowing normally (for example, a switch is in the “on” position, circuit breaker is closed, etc.) *Open circuit* = current NOT flowing. (e.g., a switch is in the “off” position, circuit breaker open, a loose wire becomes disconnected, etc.) And for extra credit: A *short circuit* = a defect where current is bypassing the load and returning back to its source before releasing its power through the load. That’s why it’s called “short” - because the current is taking a shortcut back to its source without going through the load first. (The load could be a light fixture, an appliance, etc.) This could happen for a number of reasons, including worn or damaged insulation that allows the current to escape and take an alternate route ("the path of least resistance") back to the power source. The load provides resistance to the current flow. If the current bypasses the load, there is nothing to limit the flow of current, and you will have an extremely high current flow, causing damage, overheating, and possibly a fire. That's what fuses and circuit breakers are for - to _open_ the circuit (break the loop) if the current flow gets too high.

Is that a GFI plug in the bathroom--how does that not get wet with the shower?
@pleasureway
@pleasureway 7 лет назад
Greetings! Yes, the plug is the bathroom is part of the GFI circuit, which is controlled by the main GFI plug in the kitchen area. When showering, the curtain gets pulled all the way around and attaches to the wall beside the window. The curtain is what blocks the vanity area from getting wet. At 2:02 Dean mentions the curtain and you can see the track on the roof of the bathroom.

Great video! I am a disabled veteran and I love the attention to detail in the engineering and craftsmanship in building this home away from home. I am adding it to my list of things I want this year. I really want the 4x4 option is that special order?
@pleasureway
@pleasureway 7 лет назад
Hi trophyfishin, we appreciate the kind words and thank you for watching! Unfortunately, we currently do not offer the Plateau TS in the 4x4 option.

How about 4x4...bigger batteries...more solar panels
@Milesco
@Milesco 7 лет назад
3:22 It's not "amps per hour", it's just *amps.* An ampere is a rate of current flow (specifically, one coulomb of electric charge per second), analogous to "gallons per minute" for water flow. You wouldn't say "gallons per minute per hour", and likewise, you don't say "amps per hour" (i.e., coulombs per second per hour).

I would also like to add that you guys really need to colour up those black wire sleeves.... Or the clamps used.... so that its easy for any tech to search a short.... or wire issue in the coach.

Beautiful RV!!! Can you please tell me the dimensions of the bathroom (including ceiling height) ? Thank you!
@pleasureway
@pleasureway 7 лет назад
Hi Vin, the height is approx. 74", the width is approx. 25.5" and the length is approx. 46". A few things to keep in mind, you'll notice at 1:57 in the video that the far wall tapers inward as it reaches the ceiling, so the width narrows at that point. Also, at 1:37, you'll see a section behind the toilet that protrudes outward 2.5", that is so the front seat has extra room to recline backwards, so the length will vary at that point. I hope this helps, thank you!

Have a question about the lithium Batteries. do they have the problem phone batteries have, heat up, explode and catch fire.? That's my only concern. Otherwise its a great camper van. awesome features.
7 лет назад
I believe they use Lithium-Iron-Phosphate specifically for their much safer characteristics.

upon examining the "breaker box"... he says the green light means the circuit is open and working. does he really mean closed circuit?
@pleasureway
@pleasureway 7 лет назад
Hi Hank, Yes, you are correct. When a light or appliance is switched on, the corresponding green light will be displayed on the DC load center panel. A green light means the circuit is closed and the appliance is functioning properly. Thank you for the correction!
