Pleasure-Way Industries has been manufacturing Class B Motorhomes since 1986. We are a family owned and operated business located in Saskatoon, Saskatchewan Canada. Pleasure-Way founder, Merv Rumpel, started this company on the foundation of old-fashioned work ethic, pride in craftsmanship and a customer comes first approach to business. Dean Rumpel, Merv's son, is now the Pleasure-Way CEO and is proud to follow these same principles today.
Even now, in the company's 38th year, we do not mass produce our motorhomes on assembly lines, as each motorhome is hand-crafted and custom-fit to exacting standards and quality inspections. We produce videos for this channel to provide greater insight into the motorhomes we build. Our hope is for viewers to better understand how our coaches operate, discover how we build them to last a lifetime, and learn more about the class b motorhome lifestyle.
This unit, and PleasureWay in general, have been light years ahead of the competition! Lithium, Touch Screens, Wireing methods.....I promote every chance I get. Have toured the major Motor Home Manufactuers here in Canada. Roadtrek, which is just down the road from us in Kitchener ON, Leasure Travel in Winkler MB and PleasureWay in Saskatoon SK. PleasureWay wins hands down in the Quality, Biuld Specs, Included Items.....so live in ON but would rather live in SK. And would rather live in an Ontour 2.2 AWD! Might happen soon!
Should be like cars 10 years warranty or less If the manufacturer would make a great product they would have no problem to do so At least you folks have a 5 year warranty
Just used your video to help my wife and I winterize our new 2024 Ontour 2.2 ahead of a sudden cold snap. Super helpful and confidence inspiring to new RV owners like ourselves. We had the whole thing done in less than an hour. Thank you so much!
Very helpful tour Richard, Thanks! A few questions for you: Are the chassis storage bays illuminated? In which mode or thermostat setting is the 6 hour run time determined for the AC on batteries? Are the tanks located within heated space, or equipped with heating pads (if exterior?) Can the house batteries be used to emergency jump start the vehicle? Thanks in advance!
The electrical tutorial is easily understandable and comprehensive, thank you. We are convinced that Pleasure-way is highest standard of rv and we're working towards getting one when we're ready.
This video: a real nice "extra"! This is the best easy-to-understand video (but technical when it needs to be). Not surprising that it's more of the solid quality Pleasure-Way stuff.
You do an AWESOME JOB explaining all the technical areas of this RV! I’m a 66 year old female…NOT VERY TECHIE! 🤣…and I surprisingly understood every area you went over! I’ve been watching TONS of RV/Van videos to know what to research and look for and I absolutely LOVE the RV in this video!! THANK YOU!! Great job!! 👍
Such a brilliant build why would you chinch out on the power with only 200amp hours?? Nobody plugs in and camps with a Class B, they should have a bare minimum of 400amp hours with 6-800 as a standard now.
Just in case anyone is curious. I toured one of these at Hershey a couple of months ago. I am a little over 6'3" and about 220 and was shocked as to how roomy the bathroom is. While I did not "use" the bathroom, I think I would have no trouble doing my business in there with the door closed. Someone my height who is a bit heavier and who needed to spread their legs more might start to get a little cramped, but that is speculation on my part. Either way, I was impressed with the bathroom. My only real knock on this model is that Pleasure Way needs to step up their lithium game some (in terms of capacity), which I suspect they will do in the coming year or two, so that you can get rid of the generator. On the other hand, one place I give PW a lot of credit is having three-point harness seatbelts in the back, something that almost no one else does in this layout. There are columns right there to mount them to in every class B of this layout so there is just no excuse not to put them in, yet PW is one of the few that does.
Please consider incorporation of a cassette toilet. I very much liked the one in my Jayco Terrain but will never again go with anything built on a Mercedes Sprinter. Thank you for listening
From decades of experience, strongly suggest using diesel hot water and interior heating especially in Winter LP goes really fast and looses pressure quickly.
Can't get warranty work done, contacted Pleasure way twice. With no response contacted Mercedies seventeen times with no response. Just beware. Once you buy your on your own.
Thank you so much for getting this video out for us! I was hoping you would film one for us. Now, time to winterize and follow your winterizing video and wait until spring to watch this video again. Much appreciated!
Thank you for this video. There is a yellow label at the bottom right hand side of the screen that reads, “ rear and sliding doors must be closed prior to extending awning”, but you opened it with the sliding door open. I don’t understand why that label is there since you would want to watch as the awning is being extended. Can you explain this?
Thank you for this excellent video; with respect to the hitch and wiring, does the Ford contain a brake controller and or does Pleasure-Way install one? Thank you, be safe and well.
Would like to see a video of the 2024 Ontour 2.0 awd and the upgrades. I understand you now have 600 amps. Is it possible to upgrade the 2022 or 2023 to 600 amps ?
I am considering a 2023 PW Ontour 2.2, but it was built early on with the 2022 chassis. What are the pros and cons of the two? I will be towing a motorcycle trailer also if that influences your feedback.
I been watching videos awhile trying to decide which van I want and this is the best design I have seen so far I love it I can definitely see myself getting one of these
After watching a few videos, I just realized that you have your own channel..and I subscribed. The attention to detail that the company takes to the build is very impressive and a motivating factor for to purchase one. I am looking forward to seeing the line in person for the first time and meeting Doug at the Hershey show in a few weeks. I am hoping that you will have the 2023 or 2024 Ontour 2.2
I used to winterize all my RV's so far by blowing out the water with a compressor. Never had a problem with that. Does anybody have some experience/recommendations with that method on a pleasure-way?
