If you're managing your speed to take the wave characteristics into account it won't pound, it will cut through the waves or ride over them.

By the way, although Ranger Tugs are nicknamed "trailerable trawlers" they aren't really trawlers in the usual sense. People of my generation would more likely consider them to be "cabin cruisers."

@@ronaldsimmons8346 That would not be accurate, as what looks like a pilot house from the outside is actually open to, and on the same level as, the saloon/galley.
