The Ottawa Senators defeated the Boston Bruins in 6 games in the first round of the 2017 Stanley Cup Playoffs. Ottawa played a complete game throughout the series, with Bobby Ryan and Derick Brassard providing great offensive pressure, excellent goaltending from Craig Anderson, and Erik Karlsson doing pretty much everything. Ottawa advances to round 2, where they'll have home ice advantage over the New York Rangers.
