How do you still like your wrx after a few month? Had my 2017 wrx for 6 months now, first 3 months was a blast to drive but now I kinda expected how the power pushes and feels. My complain is the power drop after 4.5k rpm. Over all still love the car.
Ibrahim Mohiuddin... agreed. but even at his same level, his own channel would grow well, cause I've seen him in a few and had good presentation, but most importantly, is knowledgeable of cars!!
I opted for the CVT and absolutely love it. Prior to my purchase, my daily commute vehicle alternated between a Ducati 1199 and a bug eye WRX, so I was somewhat skeptical of the auto option before the test drive, but I've ultimately found the CVT to offer loads of fun when you want it, and gobs of practicality when you need it. I wouldn't be so quick to write it off.
^ CVT driver here too! I have to drive to downtown everyday since my school is there and every commute, I think to myself that if I bought a manual, I would be hating the car during the traffic.
I'm gonna get a Subaru Wrx 2015-2017 not sure what year yet, there all similar. But I'm probably gonna get one in late November or December, first manual an I'm so hyped I just want it to be that time already.
I'm getting the exact same car shipped in next few weeks. The 2017 Premium but added Harman/Kardon audio kits. I'll get it just in time for the Canadian winter :)
How much are you paying for insurance if you dont mind me asking, im from toronto, trying to see what my insurance will be like if i put it on a parent.
I pay 78$/month for 250 all deductibles, vehicle replacement cost. No tickets and 26. It was a really lucky deal cuz I've been quoted no lower than 115-120$ anywhere else.
dji zzah that's what I'm doing, I am going to test drive a 17 today to see if it's the car for me, then I will probably end up getting the 18 just after release. I am just waiting on a time frame for when Canada will get the new wrx, I'm assuming it won't be too far of the US release. So exited right noe
thanks for the info, much appreciated. I myself am 24 so im going to assume ill be charged a bit more and I live in the states so it could be different any way
+BCabral43 bro I pay 150$ in cali with parents. by my self it was $300 and I have 2 speeding tickets so insurance isn't cheap but not like sti where u pay like 350-500$!!
+ogpunkbuster I'm 25. I live in philly and I pay $264 monthly full coverage on a '12 WRX hatch. I have 3 at fault accidents and 1 red light violation from 3 years ago that's still on my record.
hi, have a question about wrx, i just bought 2017brand new wrx 2days ago, but ijust realised a fog lamp issue. The issue is that I cant turn off fog lights unless i turn headlight on. If I turn off the head light, fog lamps are turned on again, and when i turn on the head lights then fog light is turned off. So like (Headlight on ->Fog off), (Headlight off - > Fog on) When I turn off the engine , fog is off too. When I start the engine again while fog is off, if I press the clutch and release the handbrake to move the car, the fog lamp is turned on again. And I saw a comment from a random person who bought 2016 subaru forester and he said any subaru models manufactured from 2015 onward are designed to be like that and fog lamp is considered as daytime running lights, but I cant find any official article about that fog lamp is purposely designed to be turned on during daytime when head light is off. So can anyone who has wrx or other subaru model with fog lamp answer my question ? In summary, ENGINE OFF -> FOG OFF Engine start -> fog still off Car in move -> fog suddenly on Turn the headlight on -> fog off ( but fog on/off can be controlled while headlight is on) Turn the headlight off-> fog turned on Engine off -> fog off Do I need to fix it or is it designed to be like that?
허호열 They are daytime running lights. I have a 2016 wrx and its the same on mine. Its activated when you drop the handbrake and you'll notice that the intensity of the light is weaker than when you have the fog lights on with your headlights.
thank you for ur reply , already sorted out with the dealer , it was saturday when i wrote the question so the dealer shop was closed , they should have mentioned somewhere like car manual or on their website .. Not sure about other countries but unnecessarily turning on fog lamps is strictly banned in Australia
I have always loved the WRX, the new one is also an amazing car. One thing that i noticed and this is in the GTA is that all the service professionals ( forgive me for the language)are total assholes and i have tried all the dealer points in Toronto. I have got only shitty service.
