I own a 2018 SE and love it. I’ve received many compliments on it. The headlights looks like they came from a Lexus. The interior and exterior look solid and well built. The Softex seats are very durable and comfortable. I’ve been told it looks like a mini Lexus.
Hi LoyalToyota, my question is when Toyota is going to install Apple Carplay and Andriod Autoplay in their cars? 2020 or 2030? Honda, Hyundai and domestic brands has the feature already in their Corolla competition models. Its shame even 2018 Toyota models still don't have it.
BoxiePoser the major reason (and I'm NOT speaking officially or on behalf of Toyota), is that Toyota wants to maintain control of in car/in cabin technology. I believe the future will be a head unit that mirrors your phone, no matter the OS. All that said, CarPlay seems really cool til you use it...in my opinion at least...still not the best solution for a lineup of cars, etc.
I want to get either a LE corolla or an iM next. I've never owner a hatch but i like the simple lines and standard features for the price of the iM. What would you recommend?
I can't help but recommend the iM. But I'm a lover of hatches...I love their looks and versatility - I have an iM video also, so you'll see how excited I am about it, LOL. Let me know what you decide and congrats!
Any idea why they did not throw in Navigation standard with it being a 50th Anniversary Special Edition? How effective is the Navigation app which I believe can be used with this car? :)
victor bozzo Likely due to manufacturing runs and costs...the Entune Audio Plus w/ Connected Navigation simply uses your Bluetooth enabled smartphone for navigation and is pretty slick.
I am guessing you can't add it later? I know some cars use the same head unit and have an SD slot which allows you to add the Onboard Navigation later. :)
Get this car scratched at a Walmart parking lot and bodyshops will charge you to match that color like crazy. Trying to get that same color match at a body shop must be a headache.
