Here we have a pre-owned 2017 Toyota Corolla SE! I wanted to review this Corolla just to see how a 100k mile Corolla has held up over 6 years. This Corolla come in galactic blue on black cloth/leatherette interior. The powertrain consists of a 1.8 liter naturally aspirated 4 cylinder engine mated to a CVT.
Standard features on this Corolla SE include bluetooth audio, a backup camera, and single zone automatic climate controls. Additional features include LED headlights, 17" aluminum wheels, and radar cruise control.

My 2017 XSE is at around 100,500 now and it's still perfect. All I need for a daily driver. Love the moonroof and heated seats.

I wanted to leave another comment on how good this review is!! Completely unbiased this review is. When I watch videos about this car all I hear is how slow the dang thing is and boring to drive. I’m like can you show how hugh the backseat is! I liked the POV drive too! I find myself coming back to watch this review!

@Cody there are plenty of wealthy people who drive unassuming cars. This car is very cheap to maintain year over year and can last 300 miles. This would be an excellent car for someone in their 20s to use that time to be smart with their money as opposed to buying a 60k plus car. Something like this can be paid in cash or paid off in two years this is a perfectly good car

Toyota refreshed the Corolla for the 2017 model, giving it a Safety Sense package. Behind the Toyota logo is the radar They also replaced the fog lights with daytime running lights on the bumper.

Great review!! I’ve been looking for a long term review of this generation Corolla. I have a 17 SE also with 88k miles and apparently they all do the squeaking in the front in (mine does it also) only on uneven pavement but once I get driving it’s rare I hear it. The car is very peppy! Not blazing fast but once it revs up it gets some power, but from a stop if you slam the gas pedal to the floor it leaves much to be desired. Good review again!

I have a 17 xse with 180,000 miles and it’s been great other than I had to replace the water pump around 150,000 miles and I also have the squeaky front end is the control arm bushings I told my dealer that and they diagnosed the front struts I got those replaced under my extended warranty and noise is still there I’ve been lazy tho and haven’t contacted them with a video of the noise I’ve just kinda dealt with it

@@connordurham8216 that gives me tons of hope! I wanna keep it for a long long time! Hope it keeps being reliable for you!!

For the squeaking, spray white lithium grease on the control arm bushings. Should help, worked for my ‘18 Corolla.

I just got a 2017 & so far so good. Minor issues are very few such as the sport mode doesn't seem to work it accelerates the same in sport as it does in reg drive mode. There is a short in the passenger window also It needs two new tires. 14k for a one owner, clean car fax, & it has 93k on the odometer. I'm quite happy with it!!😁

I just bought a 17 carolla. I’ve noticed when going about 20 mph and less I hear a faint whistling sound. I heard it in this video too. Do all carollas with cvts do that?

Had this car for about three weeks now. Nice car, really like it. The only things I really don't get are the sport mode and paddle shift. Neither really make much sense and that eco light that keeps flashing on and off is kind of annoying and pointless. Other than that it's a great car.
@MatthewTheCCMA

You should be able to turn that “eco” light in the driver information cluster in the gauges!

Agreed. I'm tired of people claiming 100k miles is low. I do that in 10 years, and at this point you'll be doing expensive maintenance.

For a Corolla 100k is really not a lot. That's why people who just want a reliable way to get around but it and it stays in the market for decades. I'd say it's high mileage for a VW.

Apparently Toyota CVTs are reliable. I always thought CVT transmission is not reliable, therefore didn’t buy one of these Corollas.
