@@nikeelm yours is a partial truth .... audi in the year 2008 launched a concept car named audi r8 v12 tdi concept or simply known as audi r8 le mans concept which was powered by 5934cc v12 tdi diesel engine but it didn't go well so they discontinued the model in 2009.....all current version of audi r8 runs on pettol engine....so my point again petrol wins😁...

You're comparing those high end sports cars with V6 and V8 engines to these little 4 cylinder pocket rockets? Stop flying in the sky. We are talking about two cars that produce roughly 100 hp. At this level either one could be better than the other. But in this case, the GT TDI is slightly better than the TSI . I have driven both. The torque is wayyyy more than the petrol. Whatever the top speed, the tdi will reach there faster than the tsi. But the TSI is much smoother and lighter, and the engine sound is much better to hear than the tractor like sound of TDI. Sound also matters a lot when it comes to putting a smile on the face! And ofcouse this video is useless. amateurs doing time pass thats all it is. First of all, what kind of a start was that ROFL . tsi was already moving. and the tdi did not have a dash cam ? lol The TDI start was also pathetic. Should have done atleast 3 Runs . Hilarious. Also, The older GT TDI with 1.6 liter was far better than the current 1.5 . the 1.6 certainly had a much aggressive push !

The 07 Wanderer diesel engines when revved high always produces black smoke how well you service it. It is just un combusted fuel.

AMStorm lol bro I have a vw tdi and mine has never smoked like that before you have to get a bit of modifications done for them to be able to smoke. It’s not cheap at all not easy to do. Everything about my tdi is the same as a gasser except from a dead stop it puts out so much torque and I can get 30+ mpg even when I drive like a jerk everywhere

the dsg gearbox is already giving me issues, the vw service people are worse than road side mechanics. look you might have had a different experience. but this is how it is going on for me.

right now i have given my car for service, i have strictly told them that if the gearbox issue does not get fixed i am not going to take the car from the showroom, should see what those people are going to do. I also heard that vw does not even respond to those mails, i do not know how far that is true
