The colour of the test car is Indium grey. To be honest i prefer a DSG for a car that you use daily. It's just so much more comfortable to drive in daily traffic.

Some of us prefer the handling-to-comfort compromise that 18 inch wheels bring. So a more suited rhetorical question than yours would be "why doesn't VW make better-looking 18 inch wheels for European markets?"
Seriously? Dude, first of all, this car puts fun before practicality. Granted it's practical, but it's not Toyota Corolla practical, so don't expect a ton of safety equipment; VW expects you to know how to drive. Plus, if you NEED those features to maneuver your car, you probably shouldn't be driving. I really see no need for those features on any car.
ThatManIam completely agree. I'm a golf mk7 R line owner. The only feature I need is the park pilot which all cars do have, but that's it. No navigation, no 360 views or anything like that just a nice simple infontaiment system. That's for sure you said vw aims to make a fun car not a practical one, so yeah you're right.
